This product was awesome on my cat's dandruff. I was worried when my kitty's fur seemed to be absolutely covered in dandruff and she was leaving it all over my house. I used this product and within the hour I could see the difference. Her fur looked healthier and the dreaded dandruff was almost completely gone. My cat did not mind the product at all. She was calm and happy as I rubbed it into her fur. I did do this in the bathroom with the door closed. I used a flea brush afterward to make sure to get out all leftover dander (not to mention the hair) that came out while washing her. I towel dried her all over and let nature do the rest. A few hours later I did brush her again with her normal cat brush to reduce some of the slight greasy residue but that did the trick. Overall very satisfied with the product. My cat is happy, has less dry skin, less static, and smells great!
Pros: gentle, shiny coat, Shed Prevention, Fragrance

Our 17 year old cat, Snuggles, is too short and round to properly groom herself. She's also mostly blind, asthmatic, has a nasty Siamese/calico attitude, and has seasonal allergies, so bathing her would be too traumatic.
In the past few months, she's had a very noticible urine smell. Add to that oily fur on her back made us less likely to pet & snuggle her.
We bought the Whisker City Waterless Shampoo, and are absolutely amazed at how quick & easy it was. Once dried & brushed, she felt so clean, and smells beautiful.
It isn't a strong perfume smell at all, but somehow completely eliminated the odor.
Pros: gentle, shiny coat, Shed Prevention, Fragrance

I have two cats, one who is a magnet for dirt and sheds like crazy. He also tries to break through windows to avoid a bath. He loves this product!!! It cleans him so well, instead of brushing him everyday I can get away with skipping a few days.
Pros: Shed Prevention

Short hair, tabby, approximately 8 lbs, all claws... Foam was easy to apply though needed quite a bit (read: 6 pumps for petite cat) to get her fur damp. I recommend using a fine toothed slicker brush and de-shedder tool to groom. To towel dry, I used a lightly damp face cloth. My cat is skittish, so I recommend doing this in a small room and if you need something to keep them from slipping, some sort of dish or bath mat would help. It's been about a week and her shedding has been greatly minimized and she smells lovely.
Overall, it was much easier than trying to dunk her in water and I'm very satisfied with the ROI.

Smelly Cat

My kitty had to spend two nights at the vet clinic for a urinary blockage and we were told that he had let his bowels go during anesthesia. They wiped him mostly clean, but he still smelled pretty rank. I used the shampoo as directed, rubbing it into his dry coat, and then poured a few cups full of warm water over him to remove the debris and most of the shampoo. I like the idea that since this is meant to be a leave-in shampoo, I didn't have to worry about getting every last bit of it out of kitty's coat.
Used only as directed (as a leave-in shampoo) I agree that it would be better as a touch up between groomings; the rinse was really needed to actually remove the dirt rather than just cover it up. Still, it worked well with a quick rinse after, smelled nice, and he didn't seem to mind the foam being rubbed onto him.

I groom pets for a living, and the idea of a waterless shampoo just bothers me. This stuff does not make dirt disappear like magic, that's what rinsing is for! So, I recently rescued two kittens and they were just rank with stench and grim from being outdoors. Was not going to let *that* in my house lol. Took them in the shower and just lathered them up with this stuff. It took a few pumps to get them really lathered up. Than I wrapped them in a towel and rinsed them in the sink. They came out okay. My boyfriend complained they smelled odd BUT (and this is why I don't approve of waterless shampoos and don't recommend them) since it wasn't a *real bath* there was no way I got them 100% clean, so the fragrance mixed with what little of "dirty cat" stench was left. I never really noticed it, but I don't cuddle my cats as often as him. This is meant for touch ups in between bathes and not to replace the entire bathing process!
I have not used this on adult cats, but for kittens I think it works great.
Pros: Fragrance, shiny coat, gentle

i just used this on my cats, & not only did it leave a stiff, hair-gelled effect on their fur, it took me forever to get them to stop being mad at me for using it. i had to use wet towels to get the excess off, which just angered them further. one of them has long hair, & i have to brush her hair to get it to look the way it used to. all in all, not a good products. next time, i'll use the pet wipes instead.
Pros: smells ok... in the bottle
Cons: leaves hair feeling too stiff, cats weren't happy (& neither was i)
