I have enjoyed using this dog brush on my two Belgian Malinois. It gets the job done and the strap really secures it to one's hand. I would recommend it to any who wants a quality brush at a reasonable price.

I was skeptical

This is the first Martha Stewart product I have EVER bought. I was very skeptical about this product because i'm not really a big fan of Martha Stewart items. But I was desperate since I didn't want to use a hard steel bristled brush, I wanted something that didn't have the possibility of my making my dogs have bad scratches and bad scars. So I decided to get this, and i'm surprised it became one of my favorite things to use for my dogs. I'm glad I bought this for my dogs.

I have a mini shar-pei and we have tried several different brushes including the kong rubber brush (which we hated for her) and this is by far the best brush for her!! This is not a brush for long haired dogs or dogs that have alot of fur. She does not shed and has no undercoat so she does not need a brush for long hair or shedding. This brush glides over her smooth fur and makes it very shiny and pretty!!! She loves being brushed and begs for it!!

Good Bristle Brush

This bristle brush, does what a bristle brush is meant to do. It certainly does not pick up hair like some other brushes but I don't use it during my lab's shedding seasons anyway, because it's meant for just a quick touch up and helps distribute oils to the coat and make it nice and shiny. The "handle" part is adjustable and over all the brush seems to be good quality. The intelligrip surface is very nice and comfortable on the hands. It does a good job for a bristle brush.

Good dependant on your breed

I own an Irish wolfhound and I read on many sites that this is a good brush to use on them, it does pick up the hair, but not as much as some of the other brushes I have for my other dogs. I would not recommend it for any terrier breed and breed with course hair like a wolfhound.
