My cats love light and sound toys, so I didn't hesitate to buy this item based on the description. What a dud! To activate, you press the bottom of the toy, in my case the bird. It chirps & the eyes blink for maybe 2 seconds. It works just long enough to bring the cats running in to see what it is, then it stops. No amount of batting, tossing, or chasing will get it to do anything until the button on the bottom is pressed again. Needless to say, my cats immediately bored of it. WAY too much money to spend on a toy bird on a string that doesn't do anything!!

Finally something to get my overweight cats
moving! This toy caught their attention right away.
It is easy to get the cats moving and jumping by
changing the position of the toy. A fun
workout was had by all. This toy shares the one
fault most cat toys do-my one cat is able to chew
throught the cord so fast that if I let him hold on to
his 'catch' for a few extra seconds he can cut the
toy and run off with it. I wish cat toy makers would
come up with some stronger attachment.
