The indicator does not work and the clippers are so dull it left my dogs nails jagged. Boo. I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased.

I really wanted to like these clippers, but they are about the worst I have used. I do think they find the quick pretty good (although it is a little awkward), but it is nearly impossible to clip the nails. The blade just does not work well. I had trouble on my larger dog so tried it on my small miniature dachshund. The clippers couldn't even clip her small nails very well. You have to squeeze extremely hard, it twists the pets toe & then when it finally clips it causes a loud pop. My dogs are very good with getting their nails clipped but they were not good when I used these clippers. I will go back to my cheaper clippers which work much better. Like I said, I really wanted to like these, but they are not very good at all. Even for my smaller dogs.

I have been looking for this product for weeks, and I was so glad to see it offered on-line at PetSmart. I've never purchased anything from PetSmart on-line before, but I felt it was worth spending the required amount in products in order to get free shipping. The unit arrived today, and on the packaging, it states it "works on all types of nails of medium to large breeds." PetSmart now recommends the clippers are for "cats/small animals," but that was NOT the description they had on the website when I purchased the clippers. I can definitely tell you that the clippers DO NOT work on 50# golden retrievers or labs. The unit is made of cheap, lightweight plastic and the blades do not cut through the toenail. I had to take my regular dog nail clippers to make a clean cut after the QuickFinder unit coudn't cut through the nail. The indicator light does not work properly, and stayed on red when I was no where near the quick, which I could actually see on one of my dogs. The directions, which you will need a magnifying glass to read, state that replacement blades are not available and that you can't have the existing blades sharpened--you will need to be a new unit when the blades become dull. I don't know how they could be any duller, and the unit is new!
I will be taking the until back to my local PetSmart store for a refund. I would most definitely NOT recommend this product to anyone.
