My lab's hind legs were RAW from where she was always gnawing on herself. I looked online and saw that it might be an allergy issue and grain-free food could help.
I've been using this for about a month now and you can not even tell she used to have skin issues. She is all cleared up and so much healthier! Pricey, but my girl is worth it. :)

Good food with too much dust

This is a good high quality dog food that my hound does well on. Much less daily stool to pick up and firmer than previous foods that had grain in them.
The big problem with this food is that the fines are not filtered out just prior to bagging and there is a lot of dog food dust in each bag. There is some in my dog's bowl each time I fill it and usually a quart of more of fines at the bottom of the container when I scoop out the last of the food.
I worry about my hound breathing in the dust as he eats and wonder how much I am paying for all the dog food dust that gets thrown away. There is no reason why they could not filter out the fines just before bagging the food.
I understand that the dog food is prepared, bagged and shipped to the US from South East Asia. The nuggets are firm enough that I don't think this volume of dust is created from handling and shipping.
