TRIXIE's San Fernando Cat Tree

TRIXIE's San Fernando Cat Tree will provide endless opportunities for cats to play, explore, scratch or just relax. Felines can sharpen their claws on any one of two scratching posts instead of on your furniture or carpet, giving them a healthy outlet for their scratching instincts.

While I like the design because it has so many things for the cat to be interested in, it's not sturdy. Even my 2-pound kitten makes it shake when he jumps on it. I'm thinking of somehow tying it to the wall to hold it steady.

All of our three cats (two ragdolls and a calico) love to snooze in the condo base but refuse to try the hammock platform or the tunnel after the first day. We put it next to a sofa and a table and even tried to lure our youngest into the tunnel with no success. It appeared too unstable for the 11 lb male ragdoll who tried to climb it the first day but it is not an attraction for the small 7 lb ragdoll gal either - and these cats love to climb our other cat trees. Perhaps this might be desirable for some very young or smaller cats.
