It was easy for me to assemble. Only 4 screws. My cat loves to sit up high. Also she enjoys the tunnel, and scratch pad. A great product that buyer and user enjoy.

Could be heavier

I got this to go in front of one half of a patio double door (I can't open that one anyway). So I knew it was small. Max (the cat) is large and rangy, and he drips off both edges of the perch. He likes it anyway. He loves to scratch at the carpeting, and I gave it four stars mostly because the carpeting, although it still looks nice, has also created fluff on the floor. So he's obviously pulling some carpeting off the tree.
The "could be heavier" part is because when Max gets on it, it sways (the entire tree). This could be because he's too big for it (and I knew that before I bought it). But I think if the base was weighted instead of just wood, it would work better. I plan to get some round weights (like you use for weight lifting) and place them on the bottom between the perch and the tunnel and see how it does.
The toys, like the other Armarkat tree I got, are round fuzzy balls (two) with different textures. The strings are shorter than the other tree (which is a huge thing, well over 6 feet tall, so it needs longer strings on its toys). A feature I appreciate is the loop that you hang the toys from: it's bigger on the smaller tree because you can't easily see it, so you have to find it by feel. And Max likes to be able to run off with the balls so I'm constantly reattaching them. The bigger tree's loops are up higher where they are easily seen (at least by this 5'6" reviewer) so they don't need to be large enough to find by feel.
