I absolutely recommend this product. It is easy for my cats to use and for myself to clean. The only thing I would like to change would be the clips that fasten the top and bottom. When I need to move it, the clips are a bit strained. I don't think they will break but I would feel better if they were stronger. I'm never quite sure they will not break. Otherwise it is a very sturdy and easy to use unit.

My little guy adjusted well from an uncovered box at the shelter to this at home. We have the litterbox in a corner of the bathroom, and it fits great there. The door to the box is removed. We haven't had any problems with odor. There is plenty of room for kitty to do his business. We have no issues with missing the box. Easy to clean. Spacious enough to turn around and dig. No issues with removing the lid either. He seems very comfortable and safe in there.

This cat pan is great and sturdy. I was worried it would be too high for my 9 week old persian kitten to use, but she had no problem jumping in and out from it. She didn't like the door so I removed it for her which was easy.

After many visits to different pet stores, measuring the inner dimensions and overall size of litter boxes, this box is by far the best we have found on the market. It has a very simple design, but it works like a charm.

The pan is high, so our male cat does not urinate over the edge and between the pan and lid. The cover is high enough that our large kitty (15 lbs of muscle!) can maneuver and use the bathroom in any spot of the box with ease. We love the fact that for its size, it is an unassuming box and is not bulky, so the inner size is actually the size of the box itself. The lid also locks down much more securely than any of the other clasping boxes we looked at.

We removed the flap to help aerate the box and encourage our boy to use the box freely and it's obvious that he loves it more than his former, smaller covered pan. We have even tried the box without the filter in place and the holes on top do provide an extra vent for litter dust or odors.

One caveat is that we ordered two of these online because we could not find them in stores, but we are very happy with our purchase and would recommend this to anyone who'd like to give their cat(s) as much space as they can without forfeiting too much space in their home.

I honestly love this litterbox....! It is very spacious, and there is a lot of room for my siamese to do his business. My siamese somehow managed to rip the flap off, but oher han that, its a awesome litterbox. The filters are excellent, and last on average, 6 months to a year. Awesome product.!!! My cat loves it!

I bought this litter box a couple of years ago. It is sturdy and my cats never have a issue with room. I love it cause we have dumpsters here and its a long distance between my house and the dumpster. It holds up all the way to the dumpster never had any problems. Now there is one thing which is odor. I try to keep it cleaned and everything but that odor is horrible.But over all its the best i am thinking about getting another one for my upstairs.

My cat had the issue of spraying OVER the litter box (even the high sided ones). She ended up getting it on the tarp, which never got fully cleaned, in and in turn, caused a HORRIBLE stench in my apartment. I saw the one review and decided to take my chances on it. I'm glad I did! It has been the BEST litter box ever! There is no more spraying over the sides and Stormy is perfectly happy with it. I am going to buy another one, as I really need two litter boxes for the one cat according to the vets and Cat Fancy magazine. I would highly recommend this product and give it 10 starts out of 5!!! That's how much I LOVE it! Stormy gives all 4 paws up too! :-)

I have several of these litter boxes and they work out great. Especially with the size when one of my cats is 22 lbs. You have the option of leaving the hatch door off. I do this as it helps for my large cat. He turns around and feels great by having his had stick out the opening a bit while he does his business. The bottom pan is large though, so be prepared to buy the extra large litter pan liners if you choose to use them. This could be a bit more expensive. I use about 6-7lbs of litter when I filled it up after a change. This gives enough to cover the entire floor and about 2" high. Plenty to do scooping. We have 3 of these litter pans in the house for 4 cats. I guess you can tell that I found a real bargain and pleased with a great product:)

Pros: price, great size, sturdy, latches work great, handle holds weight well
