This mat work great! Size is big enough for 2 bowls, and it is good that it has a rim which can hold everything in and not spread out onto the floor.

I have 3 dogs and I was constantly cleaning up the food that spilled out of the bowl and the water that splashed out on the floor. It was driving me nuts. Went to Pet Smart and purchased this mat, problem solved. Every dog owner should buy this, you cannot beat it.

I own a 75 pound dobrador (lab-doberman mix) named Delta and she is a messy drinker. I tried a yarn placemat, and the water soaked through. I tried a flat plastic placemat and the water just ran off of it. I was looking in the dog bowl and toy section in my local store (yes the feeding accessories and the toys are in the same isle) when I saw his. I grabbed a large brown one and headed home. It is big enough to fit at least two bowls, and has raised sides so that water won't spill out. It is very easy to clean and is large and heavy enough so it doesn't slide around. All around great product and I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

The mat is nice and heavy, so it doesn't move around. It is large enough to fit two food bowls and one water bowl. It is easy to clean with a wet paper towel or rinse off. The rounded edges prevent my dogs from trying to pick it up and chew on it. This design has also done a great job keeping water and food off the floor. It looks cute and dirt is barely noticeable.
