My dog is a greyhound. Greyhounds have chronic issues with gum disease, plaque build-up, ect.
We brush his teeth daily, put water additive in his water, apply a gel, to prevent further issues now, but he still had to have major dental wk, $4,500 worth! Mostly removal of teeth, so now obviously we have to feed him soft food, and we love to treat him when he overcomes something, as some greyhounds are timid and skiddish. This was one of the only soft treats avail. Surprisingly! Happily, it is full of great ingredients, which is rare, and my dog loves them! If u have pets that become diseased, or sick often, u may want to look at their diet, our dog is 12, and super energetic, fit, and now that tooth problem is resolved, super healthy. I am a nutritionist, and can tell u, nutrition is essential for optimal health, for animals and people alike. This product fits the bill, and is a Godsend for dogs with chewing issues.
Anyway great product! My dog loves these!!!

These are fabulous. They are healthy, made with quality ingredients, and my dogs love them. I love that they are soft and easy to cut up into smaller pieces for training.

I'd tried the other offerings from this company before, so I finally bought a box of these wonderful treats. Not hard or stale, maybe a little tougher than fig bars because they're FOR DOGS. The packaging is not ideal, I'll be honest, as the last review states, but they can be rebagged. Plus I find that if you fold a crinkly bag a certain way, the contents don't get stale at all, even potato chips. However, my dogs love these cookies, as all of Blue Dog Bakery's products, and the ingredients are good, so I give them 5 stars. I'm not giving them 2 stars because of the bag they're in!

Since my dogs' favorite peanut butter treats aren't sold in stores anymore I've been looking for a new soft, peanut butter flavored treat. I was hoping my dogs would like these since they are inexpensive, but unfortunately they were not a big hit. My one dog is kind of picky and I think he could take or leave these treats. I'll keep looking for something better.

Pros: inexpensive

Cons: treats got hard/stale because of packaging.
