I was searching for an aquarium decoration that would fit into my rescued betta's 2.5 gallon tank along with his plant and gravel, and came across this beauty. Though warned about it's "flimsy" construction, I have yet to see or have any evidence of such. Though it took my betta, Bo, a little bit to warm up to his new decoration, he now loves it and swims through it every day! To clean I just rinse with hot water, air dry, and then set it right back in: very easy.
For it's fair price, beautiful look and love-ability, I highly recommend this product to any aquarium owner!
The only word of caution is to make sure that your curious fish can fit under and through it~ wouldn't want them to get stuck! XD

i really like this decor. i have it in a 10g tank with baby guppies. they swim in and out and just stay in there. i used to have some little tiger barbs in there and they used to hang out in there 3 at a time. looks perfect for a 10g but not in a big tank or it will look too small. reasonable price. will try to post pic. next time.

i think that this is a great ornament for your tank and i got one not last weekend for my month and a half old cherry barbs and they love to swim through it . for the new cherry barb i got....he loves to hide in it because he is still shy. the astonishing thing of it all is this can all fir in a one gallon fish bowl!

i bought my tank+fish(betta) on august 11 2012 and its september this decoration is great if i did not bought this my betta will not live for week soo this is really good decoration and ur fish can go to the top and to the bottom!

My fish Schparky LOVES his new house. He's in a 1.5 gal. filtered tank along with 2 other plants and there's plenty of room for him to swim around and through his house over and over again. I did notice quite a bit of different between these on the store shelf but it was nice to pick the one I/we would like best....and it was on sale for $6. Every time I tried to take a pic with him in it he came straight for the camera to make sure you could all see him! Great buy!

I got this for my male betta fish. he loves it so much! It is small enough for a 1 gallon bowl (which is what i first had) but it does not look tiny in my 2.5 gallon tank (which i now have for my betta). The only thing i didnt like with it is when i first got it, it made the water smell like paint. Which i did not like at all. but now that I've had it for a month or 2, it does not smell. You should get this for you better (or any kind of fish)!

I bought this for my Betta's 5 gallon aquarium. The price was awful, around SEVEN dollars for this piece of junk. The top and bottom aren't lined up correctly, so it looks like junk. The plastic is very flimsy, and it grows some sort of slime on it. A lot of reviews said that their Betta LOVED it. Mine completely ignores it.
I do like it though, taking a quick glance from across the room. There are some definite issues that need to be fixed though.

The frogs have been in their new tank for approx. half an hour, but they already like this. I love it, it looks great in the 2.5 gall. aquarium. I added some fake plants, river rocks, and some bamboo, and wala! an attractive and nice aquarium.

I purchased this for my betta Mango. He just loves it. Went in it within 10 minutes of me placing it in his tank. I had to go and get another for my other betta Doro. Both betta's sleep in it at night. During the day they just hang in there and stick their heads out when they see me near them. That's Mango going to hide when he sees me with the camera. Nice size decoration for smaller aquarium set ups. Hope it lasts. A little pricey, but it is what it is. Love it!

This ornament is great for betta fish cause they can easily swim inside and sleep or hide. Whenever I can't find my little guy he pops his head outside of the hole in the lantern.

I bought this for my halfmoon betta (Leo). He loves it. I always see him swimming in and out of the top and bottom hole. One time i saw him swim, from the top, and then go all the way through, downwards and out the bottom hole. it was funny to watch. He's enjoying his new home, and the mini plant, i bought for him as well. He's very content and happy.

I got this for my betta, Atticus. I figured he would like a place to hide. He loves it and is always swimming in and around it. :)
This lantern is perfect for small, shy fish because they can hide in the top or bottom of the lantern. Besides, it looks great and has a cool Asian sense to it.

Before purchasing this, I read all the reviews on here and then went and picked on up at Petsmart. When I brought it back I worried that my betta would not be able to fit in it because he is rather large. However, my worries were completely unfounded!
My betta Apollo absolutely loves this Asian inspired little hut! He loves to swim through both the top and bottom part and rest in either area. It's his favorite toy in his tank, and he generally sleeps in the top part at night.
If you have a betta, you will not regret buying this item and your betta will absolutely love it! The price is definitely right and while the product itself is a little flimsy, I just set it a little deeper into the gravel at the bottom of my tank and it stays put.

Not only is this product aesthetically pleasing, but my spotted rafael loves to hide in the top portion of this pagoda. Before I got the rafael, by tetras would hide in it when I was conducting water changes. Wonderful product!
