Fencing was a MESS

It took 2 adults and 1 teenager 6 hours to put together. The frame was easy. The fence was a mess. When we rolled it out it was tangled up so bad that when we finished putting it up, 2 sides looked pretty bad but we were tired of dealing with it. I mean "IT WAS AWLFUL" Much of it had come apart at the top and bottom. It just turned into a nightmare. Because we were unable to fix it we had to use numerous zip ties to tie it down at the top and bottom. Very disappointed by that. I've had a kennel before approxinmately 4 years ago that we had no trouble putting together. I wish we still had it.

Unfortunately... this product didn't work for us. We have 2 dogs, one an escape artist and the other is very respecting of fences.. Obviously we didn't even try it with the escape artist, but the other one tore through the fence in an hour of being set up! Definitely not a good product for big dogs... Will be going to petsmart tomorrow to return this product.

I have a boxer and two poms. It works on both levels.
Big enough for the boxer yet no small spaces for escapes by my smaller dogs. The five by fifteen shape fits my odd shaped yard and it's sleek enough to push the opening right up to the dog door on my house. Can't comment on the door we left it off to accommodate it sitting flush with the house door. It's a good product.

I purchased this for my new dog. I have wonderful neighbors who put the kennel togethert has takenit into a run form. The chain link material was not in the best of conditions. Two men went over and had to straighten out the material as some of it was backwards when rolled out. With two men, and my help, it has taken over four hours to make this the way it should be when set up.

Bought two of the kennels for our dogs. One lab mix and the other pit mix. They are medium sized and neither are over 60lbs. After having the kennels for only 3 months both dogs had repeatedly got out.
If i would have known that the fencing was going to be so cheap and easy for them to chew threw and break then I would not have bought them to begin with. I would have just bough steel kennels because that what I am going to have to do anyway.
The assembly was very time consuming and overall I am very displeased with this product. I would not reccoment these kennels to anyone!

Great product. purchased to allow my husky to be left unattended outside for short periods of time. went together very quickly and easily. If I were to change anything about this product it would be to include enough self starting/tapping bolts to secure all connections (which I added to mine due to the high activity level of my dog). I modified the plans to move the gate away from the corner due to constraints within my yard, but it doesn't matter where the gate is if all fence connections are bolted together. Highly recommend this product. I also purchased the kennel top cover to give shade and a false pretense that the top was vulnerable for escape.

Great For Any Size Dog

I have 4 dogs that range in size. We have had this kennel for over a year and all 4 go into this kennel (we added more than one so they will all fit and have room). Our 100 pound 9 month old Bernese Mountain Dog leans against the edges of it all the time and jumps on it when we get home because she gets excited and we have never had a problem with any of the links breaking or bending against her weight. Our medium sized beagle mix doesn't dig out of it or jump over the top since it is tall enough to contain her. And our other two dogs that stay inside the kennel are chihuahua mixes that weigh about 10-15 pounds and they can't get through the wiring or the squeeze by the small gap between the door and the latch. My brother in law also brings his large coon hound out and he can't jump over the top either. This kennel has been very useful and has stood up to a lot of use. It did take a about 2-3 hours for my mother and I to set it up but it was done right and we have never had any problems with it.

I would recommend this job for 2 people. It took me and my husband about 2.5 hours to assemble the 10X10 kennel. The hardest part was attaching the chainlink to the posts, as it comes in bulk and is quiet heavy. I have a bulldog and a boston terrier and they fit comfortably in there while we are away from home.

I read the other reviews for this and this is for the people that think that this is for large/x-large dogs.
Well its not.I'ts for small/medium sized dogs with a high play level. This kennel is good for keeping your dog safe while you are away, and letting him do his business outside if you don't have a fenced in yard.NEVER leave your dog unattended outside unless you know your dog won't try to destroy the kennel.

This product was a very good purchase for my 3 dogs. I have two small dogs and a medium dog and the kennel works well for them. I even have their travel kennels (3 of them inside the kennel). It doesn't give much running around space, but it is enough space for 3 dogs to hang out without being on top of each other. If you want a bigger kennel, I suggest buying two of these and piecing them together.
I had 2 guys put this kennel together and they did it rather quickly. I'd say they had it finished in about an hour. I will honestly say that it is a 2 person job, as you have to wrap the chainlink around and fasten it to the posts with wire provided, this is something that takes two people to really do it efficiently and correctly in order to make the roll of chainlink that is provided fit correctly-without running out-we did have just very little extra left (maybe one row of link). I didn't know that this was a rolled chainlink kennel when I purchased it, I figured it would come in panels, but it did not. Also, the box it came in was quite damaged and patched back together with shrink wrap, but all the parts were there. The package took until the END of the projected time of delivery to reach me, so if you get the "Free Shipping" offer, just know that it will not be a speedy delivery. I am not sure if this is because of the area I live in, or if this is just what they do with ground service for shipping.

Good product, time consuming assembly

After this product was finally assembled it worked well. My two dogs did not get out and, with the optional shade, didn't seem to mind being in it at all.
Assembly did take a while. Don't know exactly how long because I did it over two days off and on. Would estimate about 6 hours. The main issue was fastening all the wire to secure the tops and bottom of the chain link fence. One thing that help me was using a couple of ratchet tie-downs to pull the fence tight and hold it in place while I secured it to the posts. There was certainly a lot of cussing as I pinched my hand numerous times twisting wire, but for the price (as compared to other 10 x 10s) it was worth the extra effort.

I bought this product online which was my first mistake and when it arrived at my house the box was all torn to peices and the product itself is extremely hard to put together. There is nothing assembled not even the chain link fencing so if you don't want to spen all day assembling this product do not purchase it. And it is a lot smaller than it looks in the picture as you can see they have a large dog in the picture well it's just enough room for my yorkie to get some exercise through the day. I would never have a large dog in it.

We bought this 2 days ago for our pitbull mix. He is very energetic and loves to play. The worker assured us that it was perfect for him. We took it home and set up everything properly and to a T. My husband and dad are in construction and build fences all the time. It was looking great and seemed safe. We used every tie wire to be sure he wouldn't find a gap in the bottom.
This morning I woke up and had to hunt down my dog in the neighborhood. No idea how long he was gone but he got through the fencing with no problem, simply tore it open. Don't buy this for a big dog! Especially is you have no fence.

I bought this kennel for my 9 month old rottweiler/mastiff mix puppy. The kennel worked great...for two months. She managed to put a hole at the bottom of the PRE-ASSEMBLED door. Now the kennel is worthless. I do not recommed this kennel if you have a bigger sized dog or a dog that likes to nudge the fence. Spend the extra money and get a better quality kennel.

We purchased this kennel a little over a year ago and, having read some of the negative reviews, I felt the need to provide my input.
We have had absolutely NO problem with this pen. "What size dog?" you may ask. Well, we have a GREAT DANE. Since we did not have a sufficiently fenced yard for a while, we would place him in the pen while we were away from home. Try as he might, he was not able to unlatch the door. He would also lean against, tug, and stand and push against the chain link quite often. It has held up to his shenanigans quite well, even having been taken apart and reassembled twice (we did have to get replacement wire ties as these are not reusable).
I assembled it by myself the first time and it took me about 4 hours. I have NO chain link fence experience prior to this.
I suspect that those who have complained about the product not holding up may not have assembled it properly in the first place. One can arguably say that a great dane is the ultimate dog to test a fence due to their size/weight and strength, and our pen still holds up fine over 1 year later.

I purchased this kennel for my dog that is a german shepherd/lab mix so that when I was away from my house he wouldn't be stuck inside. It worked well when he was a small puppy but when he hit approximatley six months of age he was able to pry the fencing apart and get out of it without any trouble. As the other review said, if you have a large dog (or a dog that is going to be large) this is not the kennel for you. I purchased it because I liked the size and price and now I am going to have to purchase another kennel. I wish I would have just spent the extra money and purchased a stronger kennel in the first place. The kennel was also extremely difficult to put together. You will definitely need two people and experience with chain link fencing. It also took two afternoons to complete so don't plan on it being a quick project.

I have 2 german shepherd. As we all know they are big dogs even as puppies. I bought this so when they go outside i know where they are when they are doing there duties. Well for that its fine for. But on days that I go away for a couple hours i will put them in it so there not alone in the house. Well this product only lasted 2 days with them. NOT recomended if you have a BIG DOG.. I ended up having to go get cement and dig a hole in the ground and put the kennel in it and pour the cement over it too keep them from escaping. With the cheaply made fence and the cheapness of this product. If you have a small dog i think its fine for you. But anything bigger than a Boston Terrier. THAN spend your money on SOMETHING better QUALITY. you will be disappointed. For the amount of money you paid for this 45.00 more you could have a NICE ONE.. Not work the time or effort if you have a BIG DOG. Needless too say after its cemented in the ground and logs all the way around the kennel and railroad ties, I havent had a escape yet from my German shepherds. They are smart dogs. All they did was bite the wire and cheaply made so they could get out.. Good luck, again don't buy this if you have a BIG DOG!!!!!

At first I thought I got a good deal. Then I opened it and had to put the thing together and it was bad. Made cheap my dog has already busted the fence loose 4 times he just push it loose and gets out. The latch will not stay in place when he jumps on it the door will come open so I think its a bad cage
Cons: fragile, difficult to assemble
