I have 2 cats, 10 and 15 lbs. They are a little hard to get in the carrier however once in they feel very secure. They are easy to carry because of the shoulder strap. Since it zips at both ends the vet has no problem getting them out. I would recommend this product.

Perfect for Taller Small Dogs

I have a puggle puppy who is about 11 lbs, but definitely got her height from her mom. I love the shape of this carrier because she can stand up comfortably, lay down and stretch out along the length of it, and she can still curl up because the sides are flexible. She also loves the snap down window, and being able to watch where we're going. Additionally, its very comfortable to carry under your arm since its not square. I live in NY and walk a lot, and the carrier is very convenient. She has never had a bad moment in this carrier, and has not once whined while in it - even in the car.

The only down side is that, like another reviewer said, because its narrower and taller than many carriers, and also soft - it can fall over on its side very easily. Don't place this carrier on chairs or anywhere far from the ground while your pet is inside, and be careful where you choose to put it while driving.

i had to fly with my 12 pound siamese cat. the first soft carrier i bought him he shredded in 15 minutes...this one however seems to be able to handle him and his claws. I love the shoulder strap and the fact there is a lot of room for him to see out of it. excellent carrier

Great for medium-sized dogs

We have a 13-lb dog that is somewhat tall thus requiring a crate like this to fit on an airplane. Unlike other crates it has above-average vertical space but can also easily flatten to go under a seat. He can see all around but the mesh is thick enough so it is dark and soothing inside. It is collapses easily and is very flexible which is both good and bad. Good because the crate adjusts to the dog's comfort. Bad because he can roll the thing (so don't leave it on high surface) and it probably would not stand up to a lot of clawing. The crate is easy to carry and has a large opening. It works best for occasional travel especially on planes.

is the worst pet carrier I have ever owned.....everything is sew to close to the edge, therefore it breaks and the cat can get out...this is not a good product.

I took my cat to the vet the other day, it was the first time I was using it and on the way back he clawed open the carrier he is only 5 months old but smarter than the makers of the carrier, if they had enough common sense they would have seen that any cat could break out of it if I were you I wouldn't buy it.

I have a 5 year old 12lb cat and while this carrier is fine for getting him to and from the vet, I do not recommend doing any serious travel with it.

My cat is sensitive to traveling in the car. He has pooped and vomited in this carrier and since it is mostly cloth and has a mesh front, the carrier retains smells. It is also difficult to clean on the road because it has so many crevices in the lining. The sides are also caving in because there is no structure on the top on the inside.

If you plan to travel with your cat and it gets nervous on trips (or you do not know how it will react), save yourself the hassle and buy a plastic carrier. Easier to clean and more structure for the animal during a trip.

Pros: easy to assemble

Cons: price, fragile, difficult to clean

Travelling With EASE!

My Vladimir is a Maine Coon mix and is 12lbs and growing... he's not on the small side, lol! This carrier is a life saver, because it's easy to put him in it and take him out of it, even when he's fussy. The removable vinyl floor makes clean ups easy and the airiness of it keeps him cool when we're traveling on a warm day. The snap clasp is soft, so when I have the straps over my shoulder carrying him, it's comfortable and doesn't dig in. I would recommend this carrier to all of my fellow cat parent friends. :)

Pros: price, comfortable, easy to assemble, easy to clean

this product is really good my cat fits in it even tho she is 18 pounds and they were ryt afterall u can see her thro the bag so that way u kno what shes doing so it did fit perfectly for my black and white tuxedo cat named bon bon...........................
