Great Diet for Young/Growing Ferrets

I first fed my ferret Living World: Extrusion because it was a diet that he had been on before I purchased him (Experienced pet owners will know changing a pet's diet all of a sudden can be harmful). I truly do not like that diet; I would not recommend that. My ferret would eat it, but he was low-energy and seemed uninterested in his food; as if he only ate it because he had no other choice.
I knew ZuPreem made fantastic diets for ferrets; especially the Premium Diet. However, my ferret, Ramsey, is only 4 and a half months old so he is still not an adult (ZuPreem Premium diet is meant to be a sole diet for adults.) I decided to try out this diet, and there is nothing better that I can say about this diet. My ferret was much more active, even alert, and enjoys the taste as well. Whenever I open the bag, he quickly rushes over to me, trying to get some food! He has been a very active ferret ever since and is always alert, playful, and curious. This is differently the diet to go for young ferrets, especially when they are still growing.
Although the price can be expensive (Especially since I live in Canada and taxes are just ridiculous) it's worth it. The food itself lasts for a month and a half for one ferret (Will last shorter if more) which I find long because I used to purchase food for other pets (Rabbits, hamsters, etc.) weekly... You get what you pay for. $22 for a lasting diet that you can depend on and guarantee a healthier, active, and alert ferret for the future.
Pros: high quality, taste
Cons: price

I've got three pet ferrets, four foster ferrets, and a cat. I generally mix the Grain-Free Zupreem with the No Corn Zupreem and the Blue Buffalo Finicky Feast. Some of the foster ferrets were malnutritioned - one was hairless - and they all stunk really bad. They adapted immediately to the food mix and I'm pleased to say they are in great health - the hair came back on Monkeybutt - and they do not stink anymore. Two downfalls: 1) I have one obese cat now - but with all the fuzzies running around there was no helping a shared food bowl. 2) It's a little cost prohibitive - but it goes with the saying "You get what you pay for."
Pros: high quality, smell, taste
Cons: price

We've been looking for a good grain free food for our "kids", we have two. We tried EVO ferret food and our ferrets just loved it. They started eating it right away and always got buttle brush tails, that is how excited they were. But unfortunately our older guy was allegic to it. It made him itch a lot. So we had to look for something new. And just recently we bought the Zupreem grain free ferret food. And, to be honest, we are very pleased with it. The ferrets loved the taste of it right away, we didn't even have to mix it with their old food. It looks good, it tastes good, it's high in protein, which is impotant for ferrets and it's grain free. And it's easy to find in a store, almost all pet stores have it, where with EVO we had a hard time looking for it in stores.

My baby girl is one of those picky eaters. I hav tried about 3 diets prior to this and she decided she would rather starve then eat any of them. I was going to try the other zupreem diet because i had heard good things about it but then when I realized I could get a diet without any grain in it I jumped on it. My ferret goes crazy for this stuff! she jumps in the bag and once I pour sum in her bowl she gobbles it up. I'm so thrilled I found this food for my baby.
