Life Saver

I have had this nail grinder kit for a few years now and have not had a problem using it at all. My dog (2 pugs) used to freak out when I brought the clippers out. Clipping them required at LEAST 2 people to hold them down. The first time I used the Nail Grinder on them they were scared, but quickly calmed down. Now when I use it on them, they fall asleep on me. The hardest problem is keeping them in a seated position without them falling out of my lap during their nap. We recently got another dog (Terrier Mix - larger dog) and she has adapted well to this.

Pros:
* Grinder lasts (going on 2+ years with LOTS of use)
* Relaxing for my 3 dogs
* I think the price has gone down since I bought mine
* Easy cleanup
* My dogs nails are smooth and don't scratch me
* This grinder has paid for itself. I went through so many clippers before this tool.

Cons:
* Nails turn to dust so wear clothes you can get dirty - not a biggy
* No instructions on how to change the grinder. There are replacements, but no clear way how to exchange them out.

I have not once regretted this purchase and would do it again and again if I had to. I have told many people about this tool and even let them borrow mine to check it out. If I could understand my dogs, I'm sure they would thank me. :)

I have a 100 lbs dog and this helps keep his nails short enough to keep him from damaging my hardwood floors. Unlike clippers, this grinder rounds the edges. It took a little while for him to get used to the noise but with lots of reassurance, doing his nails is a breeze. I have recommended this to 3 friends and they all love it!!

Didn't work right out of the box

It doesn't work, period. I should have checked online reviews before I bought this as not working or dying shortly after buying seems to be a very common issue with this product.

This product is definitely worth purchasing especially if you are not comfortable using nail clippers. There is very little noise and worked wonders on my dogs' nails.
