OK, but...

I've had this litter box for about 3 years & while it's great for tight spaces & has held up well, it's still an issue of size for large cats. Maybe I've just been blessed with large cats that need more room than most, but mine still manage to miss the inside of the box frequently. The opening in the box is also a problem as it allows litter to be tracked out easier & if the cat is an enthusiastic & thorough scratcher the lower opening allows litter to be tossed out while the cat is scratching around. If you don't want to be sweeping up scattered litter around the box twice a day this isn't the litter box for you.

I bought this corner litter box about 1 year ago.
After 6 months it started cracking vertically. I have all of them duct taped but the cracks still emerge about an inch from the previous.

It's very annoying as the litter begins to seep thru onto the floor and requires constant floor cleaning.

The shape is very handy for corner use but I would not recommend this product.

The two huge male cats i bought this box for prefer it to their rectangular box that is just as deep. I bought it for its depth and corner-hugging shape; but I also really appreciate that it's so easy to keep clean. I will buy another one so that my other four cats can also have this as a choice - i just have to dedicate another private corner. All litter boxes should be made of whatever material this one is made of.

Great for larger cats

We have two of these for our three cats. We had issues before with smaller/rectangular boxes as two of our cats would often miss the box. The shape of these allow the larger cats a better angle and we have not had any misses since purchasing them 6 months ago. My only regret was not purchasing one with the lid for our front box that guests could come across when visiting.

I have had cats for over 10 year, this is by far the best cat box I have ever used especially for the price. It fits nicely in the corner. It cleans well, and doesn't hold the smell in the plastic like most litter pans, and it is plenty big especially for multiple cats, and for cats who have issues squatting, or have the fear of going into small spaces with lids.

I bot this litter box instore on June 9, 2012. Reason: Lg. elderly male cat is more comfortable peeing upright. I'm very satisfied with the litter box as it's tiring constantly washing the bathrm. wall and fl. under the sink. However, the litter box isn't charcoal - it's black. Odd color for a litter box, but worth it due to its success.

No more accidents!

I recently adopted two 11-year-old cats from a shelter, one of whom developed health problems and began pooping beside the litter box.

My experience with senior kitties is that this is very common--especially if they're on medication (which seems to disorient them), or have GI problems or arthritis (which makes using the litter box painful).

I've found it doesn't matter how clean I keep the box (I scoop twice a day) or what litter I use (a clumping brand that controls odor)--seniors just seem to lose their ability to aim and so miss the box.

Accidents can also be a symptom of very serious illness, though, so please don't scold, punish, or be angry with your kitty if you're having this problem. Instead, have the vet give them a good check-up--and if the vet finds no health issues, then do yourself a huge favor and buy this litter box!

Since it arrived a month ago, there have been zero accidents in our house--as opposed to 3-5 times per week before I got it. The time and stress it has saved me is well worth every penny I paid.

If you expect less mess, you may be somewhat disappointed: the high sides help, but my cats still manage to scatter litter six feet away.

I also notice that they tend to prefer their other high-sided box, which is a different style and has an entry that's a little lower. But they took to this box very happily, it's much easier to clean than any other litter box I've had, and best of all--no more accidents!

I could start my own used litter box store with all of the boxes I've tried in an effort to keep one of our cats from peeing over the side. I seem to have finally found the answer with this one! It also keeps litter neatly contained, fits nicely into a corner and is roomy. The interior cleans easily, too.

First, I loved this litterbox. it's big and high sided, nice and neat in a corner. However, when cleaning it I tapped it on the bathroom floor to loosen a clump, and the bottom shattered. I clean it daily, I didn't bang it hard, and this should not have happened. so tread gently when cleaning.

I have large cats and WE LOVE THIS LITTER BOX! There is plenty of room for them to manuvuer around without one or the other end hanging out and they can cover their business without throwing litter over the sides. I only wished it came in colors other than black. If your cats don't like feeling confined in the litter box, this one is for you!

I just bought this after reading all the reviews. I just set it up last night, and so far, I'm liking it. My cats don't seem to have any issues getting in and out.

It's HUGE! I have a very large male cat, and while I've never had any issues with him peeing on the walls, I do have a problem with him dragging things into the litter box. I'm hoping the high sides on this one will help to prevent that.

I just received the litter box on Thursday afternoon, and on Friday morning, for the first time in a long time, there was no litter around the litter box. Due to the finish on the litter box it is easy to clean. I have already recommended the litter box to my next door neighbor.

I have one female cat. The litter box is in a bathroom 3'x3' linen closet with a tile floor. A few times she has missed the edge of the box and got urine on the wall and floor. Litter was always getting kicked out. This one ended those problems. She has plenty of room and the high sides keep almost all the littler in except what she tracks out on her paws. I use a clumping litter which works well with this box. The anti odor additive in the plastic seems to work well. Her box never smells. I added a small battery power LED light with a motion detector that comes on when she is in there to light the area up for her. She gives it two paws up and says if I keep up the good work she will keep me.

I bought one of these a few days ago and my gray short hair was in it before I could get it ready. All 3 of my cats were using it and avoiding the other litter boxes, so I went back yesterday and bought another one for upstairs. It's deep enough to keep them from scratching much litter onto the floor, and spacious enough to give them plenty of room to cover their stuff.

I love this litter box. First of all, it's huge! I have three high sided litter boxes that are big but even though this is a triangle shape, and not rectangular, it's way bigger. The non-stick surface is working great. No lumps or clumps have stuck to it, making it easier to clean out than the other three litter boxes I have. And contrary to what another reviewer said about it being ugly, I disagree. It's either a dark dark brown or black colour, it's hard to tell, but it's shiny and looks great. I'm even thinking of getting another one. Two of my cats are good at tossing litter out of the box when clawing at it and a little even gets out with the mega high boxes but not with this one at all. So yes, definitely recommended as the best litter box you'll get.

I bought this litter box because of the size and corner design. It fits very well in my corner space, and is big enough for my cats... However I have to agree with the other reviewer who stated that it LEAKS URINE. The urine leaks out of the tabs on the cover that hold the lid on. Today I have just placed two plastic sandwich bags over the sides of the bottom of the box where the tabs lock I am hoping this catches the urine so it does not get on my floor again.

I purchased this litter box because of the large size but unfortunately it leaks urine when my male cat uses it! If your cat urinates up against the wall of it, it leaks. I have never had a litterbox do that before. It is a waste of money spent!

This litter box has a great design for those cats that like to "party" in their litter box! The high sides keep the litter inside and off the floor. My male cat had problems peeing over the sides of the one with a lower profile. One week later and no more over shooting! The coating does prevent sticking although I haven't noticed any changes in the odor department. The only problem I have is that it is ugly! Color varieties would be great. A good value for the money when the function meets your and your cat's needs. It was readily available at my local store.

as a cat veterinarian, I feel this litter box solves many litter box problems, the high sides prevent urine from going "over the top", the treated plastic makes scooping much easier, and the opening in the front makes it easy for old cats to get in and out. Well done !

I kept trying to find a tall enough litter box that my cat would not shoot urine over the sides and this definitely did the trick. It's big enough for a large cat to move around in and the tall sides also keep the litter tracking to a minimum. Great litter box all around! The corner design is also a plus.
