bought this box a couple of weeks ago. i like the size and shape because my 17 year old cat was having hard time getting in and out of the old one. she loves it. but as far as nothing sticking to it that is not so. everything sticks to it and the hood is so flimsy and a pain to put on and take off.
this box is over priced since it does not deliver on its promises.

I can understand why the design could be flawed, it scared me at first that my kitties would be leaking in the front but that wasn't the case.
I absolutely love how big this litter box is compared to my old one. They can turn around easily and dig easier too; my cats are around 12-13 lbs each.
If this product was leaking I would know, the litter box is in my closet, so they have yet to have any accidents.
I'd have to say the only problem I have with this box is that the clips can be sometimes hard to unbuckle.

I bought two of these because i liked the large size. I could not figure out what the smell was though... I kept scooping more often.... then when i moved it to a tile floor, i realized that it was leaking urine. I thought it was just defected, so i bought a second one.... but because my cat literally shoots towards the wall, the urine leaked. The design allows the urine to seep right down the sides :(

Super frustrated with this box right now. I am a mom of 6 fur kids and own 3 of these litter boxes. Like some of the other reviewers have mentioned- this box is entirely too hard to scoop. For some reason, the plastic material does not allow the urine clumps to completely dry. When you try to scoop you either 1.) cannot even chip away at the clump 2.) end up breaking the clump into tiny pieces that fall through your scooper slots or 3.) using all of your strength to try and lift the clump, the clump breaks and litter flies all over your floor and face- that's an awesome feeling! >:( In summary, Nature's Miracle should stick to their strong suit- making enzymes, and stay away from producing cheap plastics.
oh and ps, i know its not my litter because I own 3 other brands of litter boxes and I'm able to scoop the clumps from those with ease.

The opening is low and litter seems to come out easily. The latches are extemely difficult to open, not worth breaking a nail. Over priced and definitely not worth it.

There are a few small things I don't like about this litter box, but minor enough to still rate this a 5 star. Another reason being, there are some real good things about this box that you will not find in others. I'm now fostering a 15+ year old cat from our local shelter that has severe arthritis in his back legs. Can't use a small pan type litter as it is missed most of the time since he can't bend right. He couldn't get into my other hooded litter boxes. The Nature's Miracle Jumbo has been working out great! The scoop in the front is low enough in the front for him to step right in. The pan has a minor oval shape and it seems to be enough to help this real large kitty to turn about when he gets inside. Of course this is a struggle too with his arthritis. Now the cons? Yes, it is annoying not having a handle on the lid. But I can get by without that from being happy with what it can do. The snaps are doing great with being tight and it holds the giant size litter liners in place when I attach the hood. I really have to pull on the snaps hard to unluck them though for each time. I don't know if this will become an issue later on by causing them to snap off or something like that. I guess that time will tell, but all I can say is that my 15 year old rescue "Herman" would give you thumbs up for this litter box too!

I am a cat foster and can have anywhere from 10-30 cats at one time. In 20 years of working with cats, I have tried every litter box on the market and this is by far the best I have ever had.
The box is big enough for even my largest Maine Coon (25 pound male) He has enough room to turn around, dig to his hearts content and not throw litter around the room. This box is easy to clean, nothing sticks (unless your litter is low, urine usually does not stick to the bottom) I have 10 of them right now vs. 17 of the smaller rectangle covered boxes. I scoop 2 times a day and completely dump and sanitize every 10 days or so. I would highly recommend this to any cat owner. I am a complete fanatic about odor and I have not had any complaints about a "urine" odor. I do not know how they did it with the Odor Blocking and bacteria prevention, but it is a true miracle. It does work and it is worth every penny spent to purchase.

I really wish I wouldn't have gotten this litter box. I wanted something different than the ordinary rectangle litter box, but now I know why those work so well. The rounded corners make it extremely hard to scoop the waste out and it ends up breaking into a bunch of pieces and dirties up the litter box a lot faster. The lid doesn't have a handle which I guess I didn't notice when I bought it but I'd much rather pick it up by a handle than the rim because my cats like to make a mess all over the inside (somehow). And the wide opening lets more of the odor escape. I don't recommend this litter box.

I have two little fur kids and one of them is such a picky cat, this is THE only litter box with a cover that he will go in and use. Such an easy clean up my extra large litter liner bags fit it perfectly and it fits in under the counter in the bathroom with ease. So glad the petsmart employee helped me with this!

This box is great easy to clean and great for large breed cats. They can actually turn around easily. I love the bump out on the bottom of the door way, the large opening and that it has no door, 2 or ours won't do the door flap. 1 of our lovely dears thinks he needs to poo upon entering the box before turning and this design keeps it in the box which he then promptly covers. The regular boxes without the bump out his poo gets on the rim which when he tries to cover it, all the litter flies on, over and out of the box.

Go out and buy a plastic storage container, cut an enterance and cover edges w/ducttape, place lid on and you have a litterbox thats cheap and works just as good. When its wears out replace w/same. All good.

We bought this due to the fact it had such a large doorway so my older cat could get in and out easily.
I find it does hold back some litter from tracking with the extra dip on the doorway, our biggest problem before was that my cat would get in and then think she was all the way in and accidentally go outside the box onto the carpet. So this extra bit saved the day with that problem, but the large doorway became the new problem.
We have 2 cats, and 2 cat boxes, this one is definitely the smelliest of the two. I clean it on average about every day or every other day. The large doorway causes the smell to escape easily and even after I have just cleaned it my cat will go into the fresh litter and yuck up the whole room again. It's never ending.
It would be nice if Natures Miracle would put a clear flap door to the front of this box to prevent the smell from escaping. Or maybe start making cat diapers. This is getting ridiculous.

I have one (rather small) cat. I bought this litter box because I wanted to give him the privacy of a hooded litter box as well as plenty of space. This litter box is easy to clean because the edges are rounded, so nothing gets stuck or built up in the corners. It's also very deep. I can clean this box without taking off the lid because the opening is nice and big. The overall quality seems pretty good.
Despite what the description says, it's not a miracle. You'll still have to clean it often to keep it from smelling. If I had a dog, I would be worried about it getting into this box because of the large entryway.

We have 5 indoor cats(not by choice) but how do you let strays stay out and freeze?
We keep all the cats indoors, and have many liter boxes, i saw this one advertised and thought it would be great, i could get rid of a few boxes, and that this one would be easier to scoop etc, well with the cover on, its impossible to scoop it clean, so i have kept the cover off, and then the front dips down and they get more liter on the floor than ever before as i do keep the liter deep, and it does not scoop easier for whatever they put on the bottom to make it scoop easier, i find i did better with the smaller boxes, with the rim guards and spray the bottoms with turtle wax every time i clean them, so this one will be donated to the animal shelter

I have been looking for an extra large litter box for my full-size cat. This one is an excellent size for the base, and would be even better if the opening was a bit wider at the front. I can't use the lid because it is not wide enough. The "step" for the cat to get in and out, or 'lip' at the front, is not as wide as it looks and is a bit awkward for her to use. Fix the width where the cat gets in and out, level out the "lip" and I'd say that it is a 5+* litter box for the full size cat.

I have multiple cats and thought this would be a great box. So, i bought 2 of them. What i found out was that it doesn't control odor, litter still sticks and for some reason the design of the lid allows cat urine to seep out the back of it (a problem i have never had with any other box in the 18 yrs of having these cats) . I had to place a mat behind it. I also would recommend that they put a handle or something on it to assist in carrying it. On a positive note, seems my cats like the size of it.

I feel like i am really getting a great deal out of this litter box.. my 2 cats LOVE it, it is very spacious for them to scratch around in, it has a charcoal filter at the top (don't notice a difference in smell as it says it does but... )
It fits into a corner space perfectly and is stylish so its not such a eyesore for cat owners.

I have two pure-blood maine coons, each weighing around 20 lbs. A normal litter box simply wasn't large enough for them to fit inside. This box solved that problem with its tall opening and massive volume. I definitely recommend for large breed cats. Downside though is that it has no hand holds, making dumping it for monthly cleaning incredibly difficult.
