Carefresh is the best, but basic blend is NOT!

I love carefresh, I'm spoiled by it thats why I give this product a 1 star. I saw the basic blend for the first time in the store and figured with a familly of chinchillas I love and trust carefresh, but I need to go cheaper because I have more chins now after having babies(they are gonna eat more and poo more so cashing out will be more expensive)! That was a mistake. This is the worst product I have tried from carefresh I have never had a Stinky cage until I used this product. That is my only complaint. This product smells horrible. my house now smells like ferretts. I definetly recommend anyone to spend the extra 2$ and get the good old fashion carefresh from recycle cardboard its 100% better than this crud

This product is very nice because it is cheaper than straight-up carefresh, but still keeps odor down.

It was a good brand,but a bit messy.I chose alfapet instead.It's better at controlling the odor.I still think it's okay.Not bad.

i have to hamsters and i always used this because it makes it smell better than the other bedding i used I RECCOMEND THIS PRODUCT VERY MUCH!

I bought this bedding because it was on sale for 12.99 for a 60 liter, a lot cheaper than a 60 liter of the paper cellulose version. It's not dusty, and it works absolutely fine with my piggies and dwarf hamster. I like that it has little CareFRESH paper cellulose pieces in it, my hamster with pick those pieces out and move them into his nest. Surprisingly, this bedding is also absorbent. Can be a little messy though. It's pretty soft too, compared to some aspen beddings.

This product is amazing.

Pros:
-Does NOT smell at all
-Nice and fluffy
-Provides good room for my robo to hide and burrow

Cons:
-Easy to get out of cage
-Can't find wet spots
-Dusty

Recap:
It's a really good litter and doesn't smell at all. Although, it is dusty after you clean it out, it's an easy clean. You can't find wet spots with a Robo Dwarf Hamster, but he likes to burrow anywhere in the bedding.

Pros: eliminates odor, easy to clean

First, this litter is sooo messy it is a pain to clean up when it spills on the floor. It's sort of rough which i worry about but the odor control is really good. The natural smell of the litter disguises the smell from the hamster. The price is good, too. So, I like this litter, but i don't think I will get it next time.

Not the best for Guinea Pigs

I bought this product for my two Guinea Pigs, the reason I decided upon the carefresh with woodshavings was because it was less pricy than the fiber bedding, it also stated on the package that it was suitable for Guinea Pigs, even if that is so I would NOT recommend this for Piggy owners. My two little critters kick the bedding out of their cage and into their food, it's also AWFUL at elmintating odor and once it's wet it clumps to the bottom pan of the cage and I have to scrub to get it out. It's just an overall hassle and I am switching back to the fiber bedding.

Cons: messy, Hard to Sift, Doesn't Eliminate Odor

I love this bedding so much! I could never decide if I should get paper or wood shavings, but now I have both. Although there is less paper than I would like, it is still a great bedding. Very absorbent and I can barely smell any urine. Definitely would recommend.
