we have been using the GNC Multivitamin for the last two years and we swear by it out dog is happier and healthier and when she doesn't get her vitamin she is not as energetic and lazy this is a great product!

I have 4 Chinese Cresteds, all four a bit on the picky side when it come to their supplements. I bought this to give it a try but realistically from past experience not expecting them all to like it. Surprise - each dog decided it was a treat in their food dish and chose to eat it first. I like the ingredients and the dogs like the flavor. I would highly recommend this product and mine will be getting it regularly as part of their diet plan.

Dreamy Peanut Butter Flavor more like a NIGHTMARE

I have 2 black labs (9yrs and 1yr). Let me preface by saying that if I put peanut butter on an aluminum can, my 9yr old would gobble it up.
I purchased the GNC Ultra Mega Hip & Joint tablets (60ct) from Petsmart.

Smell: Ugh. Not like peanut butter at all, with a kind of chemical aroma to them.

Emma's impression (9yr) - We tried everything to get her to eat these...peanut butter, lunchmeat, hiding in moist food...no chance. She spit them out every time, complete with head thrashing as if we put a hot pepper or something in her mouth. Finally we just gave up.

Huck's impression (1yr) - His reaction wasn't as violent as Emma's, but he would not eat them either...he just ate around them and spit them out.

We gave small baggies of these away to other dog owners with the idea that if their dogs would eat them, they could have the bottle. No luck...we literally can't give these things away. What a waste of money.

Alternatives: Nutramax Cosequin Plus. We turned to these as an alternative (also from Petsmart), and both dogs love them. They eat them as a treat, no wrapping required.

If you can, try to find these as a sample pack before spending the money so you don't get burned like I did.
