At the recommendation of a fellow Dane owner I purchased this Salmon Oil. Her Black Dane had such a soft and shiny coat, I asked what she gave him, she said she adds this to his water.... Only thing is, it does stink, and it goes in the fridge.

My vet told me to get this and within 2 weeks saw a difference in his coat, less shedding the only thing we don't like is the smell of it and yes the dripping. All and all, going to get some more, worth every penny.

Effectiveness
We have 2 pugs. We started adding this salmon oil supplement to their food 2-3 months ago due to dry/coarse coats and some scratching issues. I was a bit skeptical in purchasing, but the product has worked amazingly great for us... really softened both their coats and made both their coats quite a bit more shiny. Only took a a couple weeks of adding to food to see changes. However... both size bottles avail. are screw-type caps and annoyingly seem to drip a little bit either on the outside bottle or from cap, no matter how careful we are. Since this brand doesn't seem to come in pump form, I've not seen any pumps in store to buy for use w/this brand, and I can't be bothered searching around to find a pump that fits this bottle.... once this bottle is used up, we'll be switching to a different brand salmon oil that comes w/a pump.
Pros: works great
Cons: Hard to Administer

I have 2 German Shepherds and their coats had begun to get really dry, brittle, and flaky. Their noses were dry as well. I feed a raw diet, but do not like handling raw fish. So I picked some of this up with some vitamin E. It only took about a week and a half to start seeing the changes. They both now have super soft shiny coats and good and wet noses! :-). I think the price is a bit high for the amount you get, but it definitely works!
