My beagle loves these ears. He can go through one in ten minutes though, and it doesn't come out so nicely on the other end. The ears are very stinky and greasy. They have left stains on my carpet. For the price, and how fast my dog goes through one, not to mention the bathroom issues, I wouldn't really recommend these to anyone.

Rancid and Horrible

The pig ears were rancid. My dog would not even touch them. Horrible product. Rotate your stock or something. I wasted $21.00. will never buy your product again.

These pig ears are greasy and always rancid smelling when I open a new bag. My dogs take them with hesitation, although they do chew on them and have no ill effects from them as far as I can tell. I have, however, decided to discontinue using them because of the rancidity issue.

This product is horrible. I would have given it zero stars if possible.

My dog (newfoundland/golden mix) typically loves all of dentley's products, and these ears were no exception. We fed our dog pig ears growing up, so I know they are a real treat for a pooch. My plan was to give my dog an ear after the puppy park and as I was leaving for the evening. I grabbed it out of the bag, and remember thinking it was very greasy... overly greasy. Now, we gave my dog ears when we were growing up, but those ears were never greasy or oily. They were dry. As soon as I gave my dog the easr, he immediately started to chew it. I left thinking nothing of it. The next day, I was going to take him to the park. En route to the park, he had an accident in the back seat of the car. It was bad diarhea. He normally is able to let me know when he has to go, so I know it was bad because he didn't make a sound. It's now been one full day since the initial accident and 1.5 days since I originally gave him the ear. I just got back from shopping and there was another icky accident, this time in the house.

I would never recommend this product. No thing needs to eat that much grease. I feel bad I gave it to my dog. I will be taking the product back to petsmart and asking for a refund or credit.

Horrible Product

Purchased for my 4 month old shepherd mix puppy. I’m trying to stay away from rawhide and this product advertised on the bag that these ears provide hours of chewing fun, thought these would be great treat since we are hitting the teething stage. My puppy is not an aggressive chewer in any way shape or form. I picked one of the smaller ears out of the bag and he ate it in under 10 min. There was no chewing involved with this product. It was so dry and brittle that as soon as he bit into the ear it just broke into a bunch of shard pieces that could really do some damage to a dogs stomach.

My dog Stella Will Not eat any treat, no matter what it is, except smoked pig ears. She absolutely has a fit over these things. She dances around like I was giving her a steak. I am totally happy that she loves these so much. I highly recommend them and so does Stella!!!

Our 2 Jack Russells love Dentley's pig ears, but due to the dogs' size we must cut the ears into smaller pieces with 'industrial strength' scissors - a greasy, messy task! We would sure welcome it if you offered ears in smaller portions.
