I bought the large roll of large-sized Whisker City drawstring litter bags. Almost every single one is sealed at the top opening! I do not know whether these have been poorly manufactured or whether they are supposed to be torn open by the consumer. In either case, I have to throw out more than half of them because they tear underneath the drawstring pocket. If you cannot use the drawstring what is the point of the product? In addition, occasionally, having got the bag in place, I have discovered a one-half inch slit in the center of the bag, which would allow urine to escape. Then I have to use yet another bag to solve that problem. I strongly recommend not buying this Whisker City product.

Don't know what I'd do without these!

I also had to write a review after seeing the poor reviews, because I was shocked! I got online to order them because I live way far from a PetSmart store and saw the reviews! I love these liners! I have that big triangle corner litter box and these are the only ones in the largest size that fit. And fit really well! I do alot of scooping and leave the same liner in a long time to make them last, and they hold up wonderful and have never torn or broke through! I am very happy I ran across these!

We have 2 cats and 1 large litter pan. We have never been able to find a liner that fits the pan until we found these. They fit great and do not rip! Highly recommend. Petsmart needs to continue to carry this brand... very disappointed that my local store stopped carrying them.

Almost perfect!!

I have never had one of these liners (any size) rip, tear, get holes in them, and the drawstrings have never broken on me. The only issue I've had with these liners is that despite the measurements on the box and measuring my litter boxes it's still a hassle to find the right size. But in the end, it was still worth it.

I would NOT recommend these liners for any litter boxes that are NOT a regular rectangular shape. I had a hooded litter box at one point and nothing worked with those. Found out later you have to buy special liners for those and it's just not worth it in the end. :P Just get a rectangular box and find an attaching hood to go with it.

Okay product, but be careful of bag sizes!!!

I'd give this product a higher rating, but the stated bag dimensions do *NOT* match litter box dimensions. We have a Grreat Choice Open Litter Pan (Item: 4217938). Its dimensions are 22.5"L x 16.7"W. I just bought Whisker City liners with dimensions of 31"L x 17"W. The liners don't fit. They're too narrow. I'm not sure how the liner dimensions relate to litter box dimensions, but I'm going to try the "jumbo" liners. I hope they fit...

Good quality bag, Sizes do not correspond

These bags are really only problematic at the point of sale. As other reviewers have mentioned, the naming conventions don't match. An X-Large bag does not correspond to an X-Large litter box. Instead, the Jumbo litter bags correspond to the X-Large litter box. This is incredibly frustrating, especially if you're purchasing them for the first time. Of course you would buy X-Large bags to go with your X-Large box! Who wouldn't?

BUT, once you have the right bag to fit your litter box, these perform fine. The Jumbo bag fits snuggly around the edges of the X-Large box. There is some excess bag inside the box, but once you put the litter in it's really not an issue. I find the bag to be sturdy and holds up fine even with a lot of use. I have four cats, three are de-clawed.

Jumbo liners do not fit...

I recently purchased a jumbo hooded litter box. After comparing measurements on the jumbo liner box, I thought I had a perfect match. When I went to put the jumbo liner in my new jumbo litter box .... it didn't fit. One would think a jumbo liner would fit a jumbo cat box. Plus, I had to purchase a box of 30. I can't find any liners to fit this jumbo cat box. So I've had to resort to cutting the liners on the seam to stretch them to fit and then taping them down.
The thickness of the liners is great - just not the size.

We have four rambunctious cats, and have tried all kinds of liners with various success. These are the best liners we have found so far and we have been recommending them to relatives and friends with cats. We have Large Booda Dome cat boxes, and the person at the store told us the size to get to match our cat boxes (large). This makes cleaning up a whiz. We used to HATE changing the box and our cats were getting very annoyed with us. We got these liners and now it takes 5 minutes tops, with no litter spilling, box scrubbing, or horrific smells. Now with the WhiskerCity liners we no longer fight over who will change the litter box, and none of our cats have to deal with gross litter boxes. When it's time to change the litter, we just remove the dome, lift out the used WhiskerCity liner and place it in a trash bag. Then, replace with new liner, fill with fresh litter, spread it around evenly, replace dome, and good to go. We turn the ends of the liner up over the outside of the box sides for extra protection. We have never had the cats puncture the liners, and now that clean up is so much faster we are a very happy household. What a difference! I cannot recommend this highly enough. Just ask a salesperson to help you figure out the size you will need for your particular box.

Sizing Problem

I had recently purchased a box of the Whisker City Cat Pan Liners with drawstring. When I brought it home I verified the size- Large as was the previous box. When I finally opened it to replace the last liner from the previous box, I discovered it wouldn't even stretch over my 22 x 17 cat pan. Not only that the material does not appear to be 2 mil thick- it is not as heavy as the last 2-mil thick liners I had. Fortunately Pet Smart was very helpful - they replaced the box with X-Large size which I hope will work, but having to take an extra 30 min to run back to the store to replace the product was an inconvenience. I have not tried the ones on the role as the gentleman with the higher review recommended. I believe whatever has happened to this product to reduce their ratings is a recent problem.

Jumbo Cat Pan Liners

After reading the 1 star reviews, I felt compelled to add my two cents. I have been using these liners now for a few months and am VERY happy with the quality. They come in a continuous roll of 30 which makes it easy to store (the other brand I used to use was not a continuous roll and every time you pulled out one, half of another one came out as well and you had to roll it back in the box each time). They are super strong/tough bags as well. My cat used to claw large holes through the old ones and does not with these ones. I used to have to double-up on the old liners... these ones I do not. Overall, these are the best cat pan liners I have found so far. I would and have recommend them to my friends.

I love these liners...and I haven't had any of the problems of the other users. We have two cats...the liners fit our jumbo litter box easily...we find that the liners are easy to handle, and, because of their thickness, hold up remarkably well for about 1 1/2 weeks in the box
In terms of size, I might suggest that users measure their boxes and compare to the dimensions on the package...there are, after all, Super Jumbo boxes that these won't fit. Otherwise, if they fit...they will do the job very, very well.
These are the best liners we have ever used!

Heavy Duty Premium Quality Cat Pan Liners

Every liner has split on the side at the slightest pressure as it is put into the litter box. The 2 mil thickness actually is not a good thing. It's too thick to conform to the litter box well. Return info not available because it's on the perforated opening of the box and discarded before you realize that the liners have a problem.
