We originally bought this for our dog that had spinal surgery because he just couldn't get quite the full mobility back in his hips and full range of motion in his knees after the surgery. He was also getting pinched nerves. He has been taking this for 3 weeks now and we cannot believe the results!!! More energy, more mobility and he loves the liver flavor. We started with the pill pockets, then just to putting it on his food, but he even takes it with nothing! He only gets a 1/4 tablet twice a day, so it's a small pill, but have not had anything but great results! :)

I have a 4 year old Golden Retriever who had trouble getting up and could not keep up with my younger golden. She was a bit overweight so I put her on a diet, however, I couldn't take her out to exercise without having her walk in discomfort. I saw Nutri-vet Hip and Joint on my visit to Petsmart and it was on sale so I gave it a try. Within 3-4 weeks she was full of energy and running! Now, after two months, she has lost 14 lbs! If your pet loves liver treats, they'll love these.

I have a large-breed lovable mutt. About a year ago I noticed she acted as though she was a bit stiff whenever she got up from lying on the floor. She was 2 y.o. at that time. Her vet checked her over & gave her a prescription for Rimadyl 100 mg to be taken 2 x day for 2 wks. Wow, what a difference! Only problem was a month's worth of Rimadyl is about $80!! I was very sad that I could not afford to give my beloved pooch the relief she needed. I then spotted the Nutri-Vet H&J liver chewables (Level 2) @ PetsMart. It says to allow 4-6 wks for best results. I faithfully gave my 90 lb pup one 2 x day and within about 6 wks she was good as new. I now buy her the 300 ct bottle that last 5 months & is only around $40! Talk about a money saver! She loves them. They ARE rather large, which might be tough for the little dogs. I toss them in the air & she catches them like a treat. So glad I found these because she is a very active dog and I haven't seen ANY sign of stiffness once this supplement kicked in!

Waste of money

I cant say whether they work or not...My furry pal wont touch them with a 10 foot pole. I tried everything to get her to eat one...wrapped in cheese (she ate the cheese around it and spit out the pill. Ground it up and stuck it a deviled egg between the white and the yolk part, she spit in out all over the floor. tried mixing it in with stuff, she wont touch it. no matter what I do she runs away from them. The are to big to just make her swallow them like a pill. Save yourself the trouble and get the jerky treat hip/joint stuff...it will be much more enjoyable for both of you.
