this costume was bought for my 14lb Westie, CoCo Chanel and she is by NO means heavy so I bought her a medium just for comfort---well, it runs a tad bit small BUT, it is really adorable and super super cute. Very easy to put on and it is comfortable for her and durable too! She can even use potty and it is made well so she doesn't have accidents while wearing her mummy costume. I love Martha Stewart and ALL her products and was very stoked to see she has a pet line......her food cans lids are also very durable and very cute to look at.....LOVE this costume since my daughter is being a vintage mummy bride and her little Westie is dressed like a mummy, too! Just go a size up and you'll be very happy
