I have 4 cats- 2 are male(ages 8 & 7).the older one had crystals and couldn't urinate without pain.vet recommended this food for daily use and prescription CD can food for "dinner".all 4 cats eat it and love it!I haven't had any issues with them and crystals since.thank God for Purina.it saved his life.

One of our cats was experiencing some obvious discomfort when urinating. But this Purina One Urinary Dry Cat Food solved the issue within a couple of days. Maybe it won't work as quick for your cat, but for our cat if we substitute "normal" food, he struggles in the cat litter almost immediately.
Highly recommended.

I had 2 cats, Zable, 12 and Onyx, 10. My cats have always maintained excellent health even though I would later find out what crystals are and how easily they build up in male cats. 6 months ago we lost our cat Onyx to that exact problem. So after that we became much more concerned for our older cat. I switched him to this food and he just came alive! He's so much more active and playful. Not to mention he loves it! His urine is so much less potent than it was. I'm very satisfied with the switch and Zable thanks you also!

We have 3 male cats that live healthy on this food. But we mix it with Purina Cat Chow. Our Siamese was pretty consistent with the urinary problems, but since the vet suggested this (maybe 9 years ago) he has (and me) not been plagued with urinary problems. He is 13, our 2 other males are 17 and 10....and healthy.

My 3 yr. old Rag Doll male was having issues. Vet placed him on CD, but still seemed to be having problems. Several trips to the vet, I decided to use Pro Plan by Purina, urinary for cats, no real change. I started using Purina One instead because it was a lot cheaper. Seemed to be better now, I just do not know what the difference between Pro Plan and Purina One is. The ingredients are basically the same. I was told the Pro Plan was a better food. Maybe someone else can chime in on this issue.

Midnight was going to Vet with Crystal's eating other food and very Costly Bills. My Vet suggested a Urinary Tract, I found this one. Midnight has not been at the Vet since for Crystal's. I have all my Cats on this food to be safe. Thank You Purina One!

I have two male cats, one 10 yr old big orange tabby and a 6 yr old Siemese. Big "Orangino" has had a couple bouts with Uti and it is awful to see him in pain. As soon as I started my cats on this food, the Uti problem went away! I know they stay healthy with of this PurinaONE food because I bought a different food JUST ONE TIME and Orangino started having issues again, right away. I began feeding him the PurinaONE as soon as it happened and he immedately got better. Best cat food ever!

My male had some pretty severe issues with blockages when we was about six months old, and after two vet visits and surgery, I was told to keep him on a prescription food for urinary tract health. The cost was outrageous, so I tried Purina One. I started with mixing the prescription food, and eventually phased that out completely. It's now been seven years and he has not had one issue since being on this food. He is so picky that he will not even try treats or wet food, he will ONLY eat the Purina One urinary tract food! I think he knows what food makes him feel good, so he sticks with it. Petsmart has always had the best prices on this as well, I will continue buying for years to come!

First: As a former veterinary technician, I do recommend seeing your vet right away if your cat is straining/having difficulty urinating or is producing urine with blood in it right away- don't just switch their diets as this is a serious condition that can result in death if not addressed properly. I have a boy who has a history of blockages and stone removal but I couldn't afford the prescription diets anymore (I have a total of 3 cats) so my vet recommended this instead. So far it's worked just as well as the prescription diets I was using. Within 2 weeks of starting the diet he stopped straining and we were able to stop pulsing antibiotics and steroids (when I started this diet he had been on antibiotics and steroids for about a month with only periodic improvement). I would recommend this product to anyone that has a cat with a history of bladder issues!

My male cat also had an expensive problem with crystals and our vet prescribed food for him. We ran into too many problems/expense with only being able to get that food as a prescription and tried the Purina One. My male and female cats both eat this and 1/4 can Friskies Special Diet (Urinary Health) wet and we've not had another problem in 4 years!

After my male cat was diagnosed with crystals and my female cat with a UTI, my vet suggested I try this food. I give my cats mostly wet food but they also get a small amount of the Purina morning and night. It's been a year, and they've been problem free. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the ingredients are not top quality but as long as my cats are healthy while on this food, I'm sticking to it.

Pet Satisfaction
Very good product, my cat has chronic UTI'S and you cant just give regular dry food because it will only make it worse. So I tried this product and he loves it.
