I have a 14 lb silky terrier. I bought this product because it was less expensive, like everyone else. I applied to my dog last night and it seemed like the application was never ending! By the time I was done applying half of her back was soaked. Woke up this morning, still soaked and oily. Then I looked at the amount of fl oz and it was more then the Frontline that my boyfriend gives his 65 lb black lab. Rediculous. I will try to return this and switch brands.

Useless still scratches after 3 doses in 3 week

Washed dog with Dawn and rinsed thoroughly and dried with towel and let sun and time to dry. Applied 1 tube from neck to middle of back, no changes in his chewing his coat or tail connection area with in week.
So i applied 2nd tube in same basic area and after a week little less chewing but still "biting away" So in frustration and concern for my Labradoodle i applied 3rd tube last nite and still chews away but not as frequently.
So in any case it costs me $30. for 3 tubes supposedly for 3 months BUT ONLY GAVE MINIMAL RESULTS FOR LESS THAN ONE MONTH.

I have bought this product three times to prevent fleas and ticks on my pit bull and hound dog. They have never had a flea infestation so I can not speak on how effective the product is on killing existing fleas. However, it is effective in preventing fleas and ticks infestation. As long as the products continues to work I will continue to use it because it beats the price of name brands. The one con I have noticed about the product is the oily stain it leaves behind.

I don't like that it is oily. I did see two fleas at different time so I shampoo with sentry flea shampoo. I won't buy it again just because of the oily part.

Well, looking at the poor reviews I am surprised at how well this has worked for us. Like others, I purchased this in an attempt to save money over Frontline or Advantix. I figured if it didn't work, oh well I was out $15 and at least I'd tried. We have been using this on our beagle for 3 months now and it is working beautifully. We get out in the woods 2-3 times per week and have had no problems with fleas or ticks. I realize that some of it depends on where you live and your particular dog, but this has worked well for us and I will continue to repurchase as long as it continues to work.

Before using this product I carefully washed my dogs with Dawn dish soap to kill the fleas. I then blew dry my dogs and then applied the flea and tick medicine. I am still fighting to keep fleas off of my dogs. I will never use this product again it is a TOTAL waste of money.

I've treated my dog with Frontline for 6 months and never had a problem. Then I saw this and it was priced so much lower so I thought I would try it. AWFUL!!! My poor dog got fleas within a couple weeks!!! Now with the money I saved, I have to purchase a bunch of sprays and shampoos to get rid of the fleas. Absolutely terrible. I will be getting Frontline or K9 Advantix from now on for sure... it's worth it to pay a little bit extra for something that will actually work!
