The canned food is wonderful. I have a hyperthyroid cat that is SO picky! I have tried all the brands on him with no luck. He loved the Authority canned "PATE" the best. He prefers the Chicken as well as the Turkey and Giblets. The texture is great with this food. I actually add a little warm water and stir it really well...it almost turns into a pudding that he eats and cleans his dish. You don't have to add and water, but he has a bad mouth (he is 18) and this makes it easier for him. It is also low in Magnesium for urine health!!!!!

I have one 15 yr-old cat that has hyperthyroidism and she screams for food all the time. I have tried just about every canned cat food on the market from most expensive to least expensive and this brand Authority (she likes the chicken best) is just right for her taste. She licks the plate clean.
I would highly recommend it and the ingredients are excellent.

I highly recommend this brand of cat food. The wet food satisfies the feeding needs of my kitten and two adult cats. They love this food, and will not touch other products. I am very particular in not getting food that has by-products or brewers rice/corn meal in the beginning of the ingredient list. I have noticed a big change in my kitties coats (shinier, softer, and they do not shed much), as well as in their personalities. They seem to have more energy with this food. I do not want to compromise my kitties health with junk food, thus this is a great source of the proteins they need!

Love this cat food. The only pate style my cat will eat, and I have tried many. The plus side is that it is cheaper than all the others that don't contain the bad stuff. I have been told that the brand is not being discontinued, only certain flavors. I am praying that is true!

I've done A LOT of research on cat food for my recently adopted cat and Authority canned food (not dry) was very high on my list. It has real meat, with no animal by products, no corn, no wheat or soy. I caveat that Authority 'flakes canned food' does have wheat so I wouldn't buy that one.
You will notice it has 10% protein compared to some more expensive canned foods that have only 8-9% protein.
Just sad to hear that Petsmart are discontinuing this brand (it's their own brand). I'll have to spend more on my good quality cat food now!

I bought the Authority canned food for my cat because it has no by-products in it, and is cheaper than most other kinds that still DO have by-products in them! My boy Indy loves this food and licks the plate clean every time.
I do wish is that Authority offered flake/minced varieties of their canned foods, rather than just the pate.

I would not recommend this product. Compared to most wet food this product is very dry. I only purchased the patte which I know does not usually contain a lot of liquid but this was bone dry. My kitten ate it because she will eat anything but my cat refused to touch it. Cats like wet food because it's wet, there's no point in buying canned food that is completely dry. I would recommend Pro-Plan, Science Diet or Iams instead.

Our 4 girls just LOVE this canned food! They were eating proplan and did ok. But, the dishes now are licked clean. We like the way it looks and smells as the pet parents. For the price and quality you can't go wrong. ( and no by-products, or colors added) The girls give it 2 paws up!!
Pros: no by-products, no added color, kitties recomend taste, great price
