Most Scoopable Shape Ever!

Why did it take so long for this design?! The large radius ends with straight side walls make this so easy to clean. No digging wet litter out of corners and the scoop slides easily under the waste without breaking it up. Also it has no raised bottom panel or indents in the shape to trap wet litter. I bought one to try and went back and got three more. Oh, and the cats like it, too!

My male cat was going outside the litter pan. He would back up into the corner with the lower litter pan. Of course urine was landing on the floor and wall. Once I found this high back litter pan, i was so excited. I own it now for 2 yrs and never had a problem since. I use scoopable litter and scoop it 2 times a day. Owner and kitty are happy

Best litter box I've used in 20 years

I keep three in use and pray they never stop making them. Hardly any litter ends up outside the boxes because the sides are so high. Easy to keep clean because they are so large. Will never be without them.

Would be a five star rating except for the fact the front end is rounded when the animal steps in - cat doesn't like to have his feet slide!! Not sure why they made it as rounded as they did.

Product cracked 1st time cleaned, cheap plastic!

Bought this litter pan, after being used 1 week, I went to clean it, when I picked it up the weight of the litter cracked it. Great design, but cheap plastic used to make it. Manufacturer needs to improve the plastic material, and I would gladly purchase it again.

Great litter pan

I foster cats and kittens and Have 9 of my own. I use a lot of litter and have tried just about every box on the market.

This pan has a high back for those cats who stand while they "Tinkle". It has a rounded bottom and straight sides, so, when you are cleaning, scoop from front to back and there are no corners or contours to break up the clumps while scooping, so litter stays cleaner.

I highly suggest the metal scoop, seems like a lot to pay for a scoop but it is well worth it. It won't break or break up clumps, glides smoothly along the bottom of this pan.

The only reason I did not give this litter pan 5 stars is that the plastic is brittle so you have to be careful when picking it up with litter in it. I have broken two.

I would not buy another litterbox and have thrown away all of the others.

The Good and the Ugly Cracks too easly

I Love and My Cat's Love it, all 6 of them. But It don't last and my store don't keep them in stock. I had two, best every for my wide butt cats and easy for me to clean daily. But will not hold the weight of the litter when you carry it to dump. Bairly Bump the wall going out to the trash and Boom Cracked wide open down the middle and you know what all over the carpet and front door way hall. Love it but hate it. Please keep just like it is but re-enforce strengh. Can't aford to buy two every two months.

We all love this box!

I love this litterbox as much as my cats do! I have 3 that are currently being used, and I had bought 3 previously but had to throw them out after our "catsitter" didn't clean them while we were on a 2-week vacation. One of the boxes did crack after my daughter was banging a really large scooper against it, but a piece of duct tape fixed it and we've had no problems with it leaking or cracking further after several months. I have bought almost every style of litterbox there is, except covered and self-cleaning ones, and this is by far the best! It holds a lot of litter, is very easy to clean, and the cats never go outside of it. I see no reason to ever change to another style.

Great design; short life

We bought 4 of these for our crew in August, 2011. They are easy to clean and the cats prefer these over other boxes we use in rotation. Unfortunately, one by one they cracked from normal use. We have had cats in our home for over 25 years and have never seen litter boxes break like these did.

great litter pan

I only wish it were bigger! We have 4 cats and they all prefer this litter pan to the other more traditional litter pans available to them. Traditional litter pan as in the "Grreat Choice™ Open Cat Pans."

As advertised, the corner-less design makes it easy to remove clumping litter.

The non-skid rubber feet in the corners on the bottom outside of the pan makes for easy cleanup when our oldest cat (almost 17 years old) misses the pan and her urine hits the floor. While not pleasant, cleanup underneath the pan is relatively easy because the pan does not sit flush on the floor.

I plan to buy 2 more of these litter pans and get rid of the other litter pans. Too bad the Whisker City Jumbo Two Compartment litter pan doesn't have the rubber feet because I'd buy the Jumbo size in a heart beat if it did.

Great litter box size/shape, but it cracks easily!

I have an elderly cat that has problems getting in and out of the litter box and tends to urinate over most litter pans. When I saw this litter box, I was thrilled! Unfortunately, it cracked after about of week of use when I accidently tapped it against a wall--not hard, just a slight tap.

Anyway, if you're very careful with this litter box, it's great! It's roomy, my cat loves it, and the area around the litter box stays much cleaner. A year later, I still have the litter box (I duct-taped the break--it was along the top) and I plan on buying another in spite of the brittle plastic.

We have two 7 month old kittens, after Enzo got fixed he had a problem using the litterbox but not our bed, anything on the floor, or the recycle box. We went to PetSmart and got this box and literallyl once we got it home he started using it...all the time :) We have 2 litterboxs and this is the only one he uses. The box holds a whole container of 27lbs litter so that is good and it is easy to clean. Just so happy Enzo has a place he likes to go and doesnt mind sharing with Indica. Thank you Whisker City

Best Designed Litter But Cracks Easily

This is the greatest designed litter box...very large, high back, lower front...excellent, best ever!!! However I have bought three in 8 weeks. The first one I ordered online came cracked. The second arrived fine but since this box is large and does hold a lot of litter when I tried to move it to starighten the litter mat it cracked. A friend and I went to PetSmart yesterday to get supplies for her new kitten...she bought one and I bought my third one. Hers fell off the cart...and cracked! I love this box (that's why I still gave it 4 stars) but please let's make this design in more durable heavier plastic. PLEASE!

A litter box designed by someone who cleans a box

Finally - a litter box that appears to have been designed by a person who actually cleans a litter box! Very smart design. A litter scoop with a flat front edge will get all deposits whether you're scooping front to back or side to side. Always hated the curved corners in other boxes.

Large size is key for my guys, as is a low front and high back.

Cleaning the boxes is not a fun job, but it's easier and more efficient with this smart design. I hope all other designers take a clue from this one.

I rarely will review a product. But this is so good I'm hoping that others will benefit from it.

Plastic not durable

Bought 2 large and 2 medium sizes of these litter boxes. Accidentally dropped the medium sized ones and BOTH of them cracked! They were not even a year old. Loved the color of them also but no more Whisker City Litter boxes for me.

So, I have tried every litter box under the sun. I have had to go so far as to hang plastic on the wall so my one cat would not spray. I have tried other tall litter boxes, but my cats didn't like having to jump in and out of them. They're snobby... When I saw this litter box in the store, I just about cheered. It had the low front for the cats to enter in and the high back to stop the spraying. Not to mention the bigger size. This litter box is the best! Can't believe I'm reviewing an object where my cats do their business, but I had to since this product has been a godsend.

This is one of the best litter boxes ever... I got this for my Nugget and she likes it alot. She is now 7 months old. I had to get rid of our old box b/c she kept spilling the litter out of it and she just didn't fit in it anymore. So i got this because of the good reviews. If your looking for a litter box then this is it. The only thing is that is does take alot of litter to fill it up. It also has the marks for the inches on the side to help when filling so thats a plus. So make sure you have alot of room for this box b/c its pretty large.

I have been looking for a large litter box for a while and this was a god send. Every morning I would wake up to cat litter all over my bedroom floors! I hate that its not fun. I put this in my bedroom closet up against the wall nice fit now the litter stays in the box and not on the floor. I took the old litter box and threw it away that day best thing I ever bought.

I bought this litter box today and put kitty litter in it and my cats jumped right in it ... lots of room for them to move around and I am very happy with it. If I need to buy another one in the future this will be the one to buy again.

My attic is full of different litter boxes -- for one reason or another they looked good, but did not work out. This one is finally THE ONE!! I have 3 cats -- one with a current injury to his hind leg. I needed a litter box that had sides low enough for him to maneuver but not so low that litter would be thrown out of the box. It is such a great size, I even took down the 2 boxes I was using and replaced them with just this one box! Now I have more floor space. My cats were so intrigued, they used it immediately after I set it up. I am definitely going to purchase at least 2 more -- 1 for a separate residence and another to keep on "stand-by" so I will never be without this style! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! And the price is a BONUS!
