Our 2 cats love this! If you have the room this is a great investment! Had trouble before with litter all over so we got a covered box. One cat would them stand up (messy inside) the other would go at the opening ( more cleaning). When we brought this home all the problems were solved. They both love to go in, sit down and cover!

I have 7 indoor cats. I have tried dif litter boxes, with tops, without, and even bought deeper storage containers to use. I made some changes in my home and wanted less boxes. So, bought 2 of these, and I clean them usually twice a day. They are perfect! They take the place of 7 boxes, and the one end has an area to leave a scoop or more, and that's nice. I'm perfectly pleased!

This litter box is great as a starter, easy to clean for a great price. I will have to upgrade shortly as my kitten grows as she is a large cat breed...but this litter box has served me well.

Whisker City "Jumbo" liners not even HALF the size

Whisker City makes a "Jumbo" little pan liner, but buyer beware if you;re thinking it's for THIS beast. Even thought the dimensions advertised for this "Jumbo" litter pan and the "Jumbo" litter pan liner, the latter does not open to even HALF the size of this litter pan. The only way to line this whale is to use a pair of 44-gallon heavy duty trash bags -- over each end, overlapping in the middle ... or just forget about trying to line it at all and hope that the pan's real estate is expansive enough that even the laziest cat/pig won't miss the pan.

I have 5 cats and used to have 5 litter boxes. I have a larger cat who would only use the largest of the 5 boxes. I assume he felt uncomfortable in the smaller ones. I finally decided I was going to buy another large litter box for him when I came across this one. I purchased it on a whim and the cats loved how open and roomy it was. I then purchased another and got rid of the 5 small ones. All of the cats love these boxes and I love them because the sloped sides make scooping much easier.

I saw this product got a 1 Star and noticed it was based on the quality of the plastic. I find the plastic to be very thick and sturdy. I can see them lasting a very long time.

Before this large litter box was available, I bought a large storage container to use; however, the sides were not as high. My little house kitty was older and could not squat so well anymore and she started spraying over the side. I also got a new Maine Coone cat that is now 20 lbs. This box is large and comfortable for both kitties. The older, smaller kitty has no trouble getting into it. The large kitty has room to turn around and scratch. I can fill it with 20+ lbs. of clumping litter and do not have to refill often. Some litter still gets scattered, but never any urine. Love storing the scoops in the compartments. Great product!

Like it but wish it had a low step over on 1 side

We like this kitty litter box, but wish it had a lower step over height on one side. Otherwise, it fits our space perfectly, is used frequently by the cats, and is easy to clean and keep deep in litter.

I have multiple cats, some being very large. This litter box works well for them. We have two downstairs and one upstairs but plan to put another one up there. The cornerless, slanted sides make scooping easy.

I agree with one of the other posters, this litter box is life changing! I've had as many as 5 cats and 4 litter boxes. Awful, but necessary. Now we have 3 cats and had 3 boxes but since I've found this little wonder, I'm going to go down to this one and another smaller one which I actually may replace with another of these since this one scoops SO easily!!! The surface is slick and non-sticky and having no corners it scoops like a dream! Love the high sides too. The side compartments aren't actually large enough for the scoop I use but thats ok the box more than makes up for it!

Great Box, HEINOUS label

This is a huge, wonderful box and my cats are going to love it. The large label, however, located smack-dab in the middle of the tray bottom, took me over half an hour to get off. Why, oh why, was it necessary to use such an adhesive on a three foot long catbox? It's not as if anyone is going to try to steal it and hide it in a handbag!!! Anything sticky on the floor of the box is going to be a real pain to deal with once the cats use the box and even goo remover had trouble getting the adhesive off! That said, I really like the box and I suspect that the cats will love it once it dries and I can put it on the floor!!!

Very few things in life are "life changing. " This jumbo litter box is life changing. I have 12 Persians and instead of 10 to 12 other boxes, I now have three of these jumbo boxes. It is perfect. I would say 4 small boxes can be replaced by one of these. Do not wait another moment.....order now and you will be so happy. You will have more time to love on your cat. It doesn't get any better than that.

I don't care how big this box is...it is the best litter pan I have ever owned. We have been through at least 5 boxes up until this point. I have two male cats and one is quite large and this box gives them plenty of room to turn around, scratch, dig, etc. This is the Cadillac model of open litter boxes. I am so glad it is working out for us because my husband said the next litter box will be the yard if this one doesn't work! LOL!

I have finally found the BEST litter box ever! It is large -- my 3 cats LOVE it! They can easily turn around in it and have ample space. One side (front) is lower, so if you have kittens or geriatric cats, this is a plus. It fits great against a wall. I have mine in the laundry room. It is also very easy to clean.
I have several litter boxes stored in the attic because they did not work out for one reason or another, but this is THE ONE!! You won't be disappointed, especially if you have a multi-cat household!

I bought this litterbox to replace a hooded one which originally replaced a large open Pet Mate litter box. The hooded box caused all kinds of problems. With the hood on one of the cats would go outside of the box. Without the hood my girl would stand on the side and flip the box over. After about two weeks enough was enough. Went looking for another Pet Mate large pan but could not find it in the local Petsmart. This one was, however, exactly the same. Since buying this no problems. Its high so the litter does not get kicked out. Its sturdy and heavy enough for little miss to stand on the side without tipping it over. Overall kitties are happy and mommy is definitely happy again.

My cats are large.....23lbs and 15lbs.
I tried to find large enough litter boxes but they were never big enough. My largest cat always managed to hang over the end and drop his mess on the carpeted floor. When I found this box online, it was a God send. Both cats are happy using it and no more messes outside the box!

I visited Petsmart today to stock up on litter and snackies and had not intended on buying a new litter box as I just bought the jumbo corner box at Christmas. I'm always on the look out for new products in the store and I had just discussed the next style/type of litter box with my bf for next time and today I found this huge box on the shelf for less money than I paid at Christmas by almost $10...with 4 cats $10=a lot of snackies! lol Anyway, I brought it home intending to put it away until the other box was ready to toss but 2 of the 4 furkids had other ideas....this box is so HUGE that my boy Cubbie (12+lbs @ 1 yr) and his sister Karly (9 lbs) both layed down in it and their sister Willow (12lbs) also jumped in with plenty of room...its the biggest litter box I've owned and I'm quite impressed so far...I like the boxes with a cover but its worth sacrificing it for such a large box. The sides are high which I'm hoping will deter as much litter being kicked out as all my kids are major diggers especially the boy! lol! The kids jumped in and have used it already with no issues, I've scooped it once and must admit I love not having to scrape the corners....great buy! a must try if you have 3 or more cats :)

Best Manual Solution for Multiple Cat Households

After having 4 or more cats for many years, I finally found the litter box that works for us. I hate scooping litter; so, I tried one of the automatic models on the market. Great idea but way too small for a house with a bunch of cats. While you have to manually scoop litter with this box, it is much easier because it holds so much. This is the biggest litter box I've ever owned. It will hold a good 40 lbs of litter. As long as you keep about 4" of litter in the box, you have very little instances of waste sticking to the plastic. Plus, the surface of the plastic on this box is very slick, which means less stick :) One of my favorite features is the shape of the box (very important). It has rounded-off, sloping edges at each end. No sharp corners to try to scrape out. That was my pet peave with regular rectangular squared-off boxes or those with uneven perimeters. I don't use the storage pockets. In fact I covered them with duct tape. Otherwisde, they just get litter in them as the cats jump in and out and I don't want to have to empty this heavy box every week. I've had it about a month and have not had to pick it up and empty out all the litter. I just use a premium clumping litter, scoop every day and add more litter as needed to keep the depth to about 4". If you have a house full of cats (I have 5) and you don't mind manually scooping litter and you just want to have one litter box - this is the one. Happy scooping!

Large Litter Box

I bought this litter box for 1 Huge Cat. He is 17 yrs old and 18 lbs. I have had no issues with box itself. The cat does track the litter out of the box and kicks it out too but I expected that because it is not covered. I had a specific purpose for this litter box and it has done exactly what was expected.
