This a really good design, but the door broke off after the third day. The lid is not sturdy enough. It comes apart easily. I will continue using it because it is the best box I have come across. I wish they would make a sturdier top and better door.

I purchased these litter boxes after my old ones needed to be thrown out. The style, design and easy clean of this litter box makes it nicer to have in my home. There are two sizes also. I like the color too because it blends in with my home decor.

I bought this liter box because my 17 yr old cat was having urine leakage problems with a traditional box, despite an attached hood. This box is fantastic! Not a hassle to clean and she took to it immediately. The downside... No bags. This is new to me because I used them faithfully, but Im getting use to it. Im also happy with the rubber feet on the bottom. Doesn't move around at all. The front snaps are a bit hard to close at times, but other than that, its a great box and a God send! :)

I love the design of this litter box. The front end opens for easy access to quickly clean the box. And the sloped ends make this the easiest box I've had to clean. But...I can't use the door with my 2 cats. And I have one messy male cat so the only improvement they would need to make for the perfect litter box is to move the door up higher and possibly make it a little smaller. Other then the additional clean up, this is the best litter box I've had!

This seemed to answer all of my problems for 2 cats. Then when I clean it the top falls apart and I have to wrangle it back together. This morning, I found the door had broken off. now these are still pretty playful 11 month old kittens but they aren't that strong. Plus the top was apart. I may have to buy a new lettter box because I can't find a replacement for this simple little door.

We have a 16 lb Siamese who needs the space and the hood is a requirement for us, but we have always used liners. Other reviewers are right, sometimes there are some tears in the bottom, but that still beats handling all that litter.
We use yard bags and cut them on one side. Not a very good solution, but it beats cleaning up the pan.
Overall, we satisfied with this product and don't have any issue with it construction, but probably would not have purchased it because of the liner issue.

THIS LARGE LITTER PAN IS FLIMSY AND HOOD DOES NOT STAY LCKED. LITTER COMES OUT UNDER THE UNLOCKED COVER. LINERS BARELY FIT. SO FLIMSY CAN NOT CARRY WITH ANY LITER IN IT. DEFINETLY A DOUBLE TUMBS DOWN!

I got this litter box because I love that it has a door on it. I had to get a bigger litter box because the one I had wasn't large enough. But my one true complaint is that the door doesn't close all the way. I've tried to switch the direction of the door, and it's still open. I HATE THAT!!! I don't want to look..let alone smell liter. Yes I have a charcoal filter but there still is a hint of liter smell that I don't like.

I bought this box a year ago, and I just recently went back to buy a second one. I got the jumbo size both times. I love the hinged hood-it's ease to get into to scoop. The swinging door is easily removed or replaced if needed. The curved bottom keeps you from having to dig used litter out of corners. My only complaint about the one I bought a year ago was that the door was a little too small; a defect that they have fixed on the new models. A must have!

i have four cats and they all took to using these boxes immediately even my 16 year old. not having liners to fit this box is a non issue for me because my cats just tear right through them. i just make sure to scrub out the boxes regularly. and i love love love the rounded edges of this box instead of traditional corners, it makes scooping out the box thoroughly a breeze. i was able to find filters that i trimmed to fit the filter tray at the top of the lid and it helps with odor. my one complaint about this is like the other reviews, i just wish the lid was made out of a stronger plastic. they are a little hard to snap into place but all in all i'm very pleased with this product!

The plastic is thin and flimsy. The catches that secure the hood to the pan are difficult to release. The only thing good about this cat litter box is that my big male cat liked it -- for three days until a big crack developed across the hood.

I love the high backing and low front-entry it features! Keeps urine from escaping and easy for my elderly cat to get into. I like to go for the bigger litter boxes as I don't wish my kitties to feel claustrophobic while having to go and this is the biggest model they had at my local store. While I still wish it could be bigger, it'll do.

I haven't used this yet, because I can't figure out what to do about cat pan liners. Has anyone found one that fits yet? I even tried the big black trash "yard" trashbags to no avail. I like the concept, but, have always used liners.

When my cats would go to the bathroom in a litterbox without a lid they would just fling the litter EVERYWHERE! So we decided to find a litter box with a lid. I went with the large size when I had one cat and NO MORE MESS! =) When I got another cat I decided to upgrade to the extra large since litterboxs were on sale. It holds up great the new cat for some reason likes to play on it and play with the door. ha ha. It's held up wonderfully. My only 2 complaints are that sometimes you have to play with the lid for the extra large litterboxs to get it to close up. My other complaint would be that it doesn't really help with odor. But all in all it does the job and it holds up well I will always purchase their litterboxs.

Whoever designed this lid got it half right, it was made to easily be cleaned by a human, but they weren't thinking cat and how cats love to jump. The lid is built too flimsy and breaks very easily. I bought two of these litter boxes and the first time a cat jumped from a cabinet to the top of the litterbox they both broke so bad you can't use them anymore. I love the concept but the materials for the lid are way to flimsy.

I'm curious why the label on the litter box and also here on the website lists "Built-in filter tray (tray not included)." There is no filter tray included. Does anyone know what this is? Otherwise, I like the box but only wish that the top were made of a more sturdy plastic and wasn't so wobbly and difficult to close & snap in place.

Large enough for my 1-year-old cat. She started using it right away. The hood is detachable but doesn't come off too easily, which makes it secure and easy to clean. A handle and claw feet mean that this is easy to transport and stays in place.

I have been very happy with my purchase of this litterbox. It cuts down on odor, and is much nicer than having an open box just sitting there. My cat did not hesitate to use it, but I did have to take the door off it b/c once he got in, he could not figure out how to get back out again! I use it with a Wonderbox inside, so liners are not an issue - Desmond rips them to shreds anyway. The box catches most of the litter Des kicks out of the Wonderbox, making cleanup a breeze. I found charcoal filters for it at PetSmart; they are a different brand and have to be cut to size but there is a template inside the package for several different makes and model of box, including this one.

Well I decided to go back to a normal cat box as the automatic box just couldnt keep up. I have 3 cats and 2 are large persians. This box has worked great. The high back is great for my large male cat that aims high. I matched this with a great litter and I am very satisfied. Love the easy access hood just unsnap and lift the front. My cats didnt care for the door but the clever design has a catch inside that you simple push the door back and it snaps and stays. Great looking and funcional box!

1st have to answer previous review regarding pan liners - that cat owner must have declawed cats. I do not believe in declawing cats and my 3 cats have not been mutilated in that manner. Pan liners with clawed cats are useless. As for me, I love this pan. It did take a while for my cats to get used to a hood - I have always used an open pan and my (elderly) cats were hesitant at first. Its best feature is the rounded corners - why did it take so long for someone to think of this? No more concrete deposits in the corners that took a jack-hammer to get out!
