My Chinese Dwarf hamster is picky about what he chews on, except when it comes to which cage bar tastes best. I decided to try these to get him to chew something that is healthy, but he doesn't even look at the apple chews. I think that it is a good idea, but my hamster is not a big fan.

My robo, rambo hardly ever chews on it. I occasianaly see red loofa in his cage.

First Of all before i say anything ALL pets are different! I gave these to my rabbit and my hamster they both nibbled at it a little and might carry or drag it around their cage but otherwise they really dont touch it. I have to admit yes the toy is really cute! But I said i recommend it because a lot of other people said the pets loved it soo ya! So its really up to you... Thats all....

OK, I have to admit, these things are cute! Our hamsters will chew on the end a little bit, but other than that, nope. I try to stuff yogie inside of the hole in the middle and all over the toy. My hamster just isn't into the chew toy thing. Otherwise, these things are great and durable. All hamsters are not the same, though, and what may be a hamsters favorite treat is another hamster worst nightmare. Or should I say, daymare! :D

My gerbil,Stormy LOVES these!! She will chew them for the first few days,And then she uses the wood as a toy!
She has alot of fun with this product. The wood last a really long time too. Ive told everyone with small pets about these! They are so cute!
