Fantastic for gerbils other strong chewers!

I purchased this product awhile ago for my gerbils and mouse. My mouse didn't seem to touch it, but he is not a very strong chewer either. However, my gerbils ripped into this in a matter of one day! I am totally getting the large next time I head to petsmart, my boys just loved it. However, after chewing up the toy the bells are usually left in the bedding. For larger animals that might shred it (rabbits and guinea pigs) you might need to discard the tiny belles as they could be a choking hazard. But over all, this would be a fantastic boredom breaker for gerbils, or strong-chewing hamsters or mice! 5 stars!

I bought this for Ragamuffin, my Chinese Dwarf hamster, and it's okay. At first, I didn't notice him chewing on it, but I'm starting to see it slowly unwind over the course of a month. He never plays with it, though, as far as I'm concerned. As I adopted Ragamuffin when he was about one or two, he is more mature then a younger hamster. So I'd recommend this product for a younger hamster with a bundle of energy, or maybe some gerbils living together would enjoy fighting over it. All in all, it was a good purchase for two or three dollars.

I bought the small one because it was on clearance when I was at my local Petsmart. I got the smallest one just in case my pigs didn't like it. I got home and gave it too my pigs and they LOVED it! It is a great little treat and also its good for keeping their teeth down! The only con about this is that is does get destroyed pretty fast. My pigs will probably destroy it in a week or less. But as long as they're happy, I'm happy! :)

i got this for my rats so that they can wear there teeth down, and it is the cutest thing!!!! It has a little bell in it! They really enjoy keeping themselves busy with this!

My guinea pig loves to chew on this toy! He's usually really picky with toys, but he's always chewing on this. The only problem is that the bell inside of it scares him.

My bunny loved playing with this, but he destroyed it in about an hour or two. He was able to tear off the two balls at the ends pretty quickly. He then completely destroyed one of the balls and spent some time throwing and chasing the other one around before tearing it to pieces too. It definitely kept him entertained, but it didn't last long! Probably won't buy again, but it was entertaining to watch him!

My hamsters will play around and bite them several times a day. They seem to enjoy them when they do play with them, i also removed the stick in the middle that holds them together, that way they can roll them around. I think they prefer it better like that :)

My two guinea pigs absolutely love this toy. I was worried their teeth were growing too long but when i got this they wouldn't leave it alone. Lasts about 1 week though :(

the Rabbits and Piggies love! Cupcake and Soren (our buns) destroyed in a few weeks, but they had great fun! Good snack, and entertainment. Only thing is, it is kind of expensive for something that is easily destroyed. My rabbits arent the worst destroyers either-so for most buns this would be distroyed in a few days. For the pigs it is not so easily destroyed and they enjoyed it!

My guinea pigs started chewing it right away. I bought the small size and its perfect for my young pigs. My only worry is that when they chew away the willow twigs that they will try to eat or chew the bell when im not around.

My rabbit Dutch loves this toy a lot. He loves picking it up and tossing it around to hear the bells. He has so much fun tossing it he hasn't chewed through it. this toy will be around for awhile. Just this morning he was picking it up in his month standing up and hitting it with his front paws. Great toy, lots of fun for him and fun for me to watch.

These are nice little toys.
As soon as I put one in my rat's cage, my little one, Bella, started chewing it!
She absolutely loves this barbell chew!
The only thing is that the bell can be noisy, and these are quickly chewed up. :)

My two guinea pigs loved this so much! It took a couple days before they noticed it but once they began to chew it was gone in 24 hours! The only thing is you will want to remove the bell before you give it to them because your pet could choke. Otherwise, my pigs LOVED it!

I went to purchase my new gerbil Rue from petsmart. The closest petsmart is 1 1/2 away, so I didn't want little Rue to be bored! I decided to also purchase this when I purchased little Rue, so she wouldn't get bored in the car. At first she didn't really do much with it, but once she started chewing.. She couldn't stop! I knew that it made her happy. When one of my gerbils are happy, under any circumstance, I'm happy too! Even though she destroyed it DURING the car trip, it was well worth it! The ONLY reason why I gave it 4 stars, is because the bells in them got annoying after a while :)

I got this toy yesterday and my rats were super excited to get new toys!

This is one of their favorites! They chew on it a lot and throw it around everywhere in their cage. I'm just worried about the bell thing inside. Once they chew it up more, I would have to take this bell out or something...

My rats are entertained by this toy a lot. Stormy has stopped chewing on her cage :)

My little Lionhead Dwarf has been through a large and small one of these toys and he loves them. We're off to get a third this weekend. We had other chew toys that he didn't want to be bothered with, but he chews this until there's nothing left. Highly recommended for picky chewers!

My guinea pigs bit it some. They nutty ball just doesn't hold up so i tried this instead. We'll see if they eat more. They tear the nutty ball up in 2 days.
