I gave this three stars and not two because my cat is pretty hard on toys. He didn't particularly enjoy this one, I think the length of time of it shakes and moves is too short. We had this one a few days before the motorized mechanism broke and about a week before the seams ripped and it fell apart.

This toy certainly gets our cats' curiosity and interest. It would be nice if it rattled longer. It rattles for about 2-3 seconds and they wish it lasted longer. About 10 seconds would be great, or at least more than 5 seconds. It rattles just enough to capture interest, but not long enough to provoke a chase - at least not with our cats. Still a good toy, and they still have interest. They just lose interest more quickly.

Motion Critter "Snake"

This is my cat's favorite toy! He used it so much that he nanaged to pull the black part off of one eye. I was disappointed that I could not find another green one when I went to the Pet Smart store for a replacement. I bought the blue one and the orange one as backup - I'm not sue he is picky about the color. The store has not reorderd this toy and I want to be sure they will continue to carry it. It is the store in Dublin, CA. They have very good customer service.
