I HAVE TWO PUPPIES WHO WILL EAT ANYTHING THEY DID NOT CARE FOR THIS FOOD AT ALL. BOTH ARE 5 MOS OLD TOY POODLE AND SHIH TZU. IT TOOK ME FOREVER TO GET RID OF THIS FOOD I ALSO BOUGHT ADULT VERSION AND MY OTHER TWO DOGS DIDN'T LIKE IT EITHER THEY ARE KINDA OF PICKY BUT YOU THINK OUT OF FOUR DOGS SOMEONE WOULD LIKE THIS. MY ADULT DOGS ARE SHIH POO AND SHIH TZU. MAYBE IF YOU DOG DOESN'T LIKE HIGH QUALITY FOOD THIS IS THE BRAND FOR YOU WE'LL HAVE TO STICK WITH BLUE BUFFALO.

I always use this when I wean puppies because it make food softer and easier to chew! This is very nutritious.

love it or my dog does

My pup has a very delicate stomach and it's not easy keeping her weight moving upwards. She takes to this food and never seems to get the runs – unless she just got more shots at the vit-. Her coat is just lovely on one can a day and two dry feeds plus she recovers from growth sperts and keeps right on growing. And it’s less than half the price of foods that gave her the runs.

I started buying this product after my vet recommended that I stop feeding my puppy Purina Puppychow. She is a 4 month old Black Lab/Pit bull mix and has had a few issues since we got her. Started out with flea infestation, then on to demodeptic (sp?) mange, and then terribly dry skin. She was scratching constantly and wasn't gaining much weight. My vet told me the dry skin was probably due to the poor nutrition content in the puppychow. Ever since we switched to this food, Abby Labby has been happy and healthy and gained 15lbs in 1 month! Her coat is shinier and she eats like a 4 month old puppy should. It's also very reasonably priced. Thanks to Authority for this wonderful puppy food!

Pros: small bites for puppy, reasonably priced

Cons: would like smaller cans of wet food
