I have two dogs and one cat. When we got the cat we started noticing fleas, we had all 3 animals on this product for 6 months. The flea count decreased but they were still hatching. One of my dogs started getting flakes while the other one had redness on her chest and belly. The cat didn't have much of a change either. We changed to the regular Sentra box for the dogs and the pro Sentra box for the cat. The fleas were gone. I don't think it's the products you just have to find what works best for your pet.

I have been using this product religiously every 30 days and my dog had a tick yesterday!!! I know its not a repellent BUT I do not live in a tick-prone area and it was snowing the day before. I am furiuos and my vet ended up telling me that this product isnt working as good as it used to. I'm moving on to vectra 3d....its stronger!

I have 3 dogs and 2 cats and i use this product on all of my animals. It is more expensive than some of the other flea preventatives, but it works better in my opinion

Frontline works great. I've never used any other product, but I don't think I'll ever switch, because in all the time that I've been using this, my dogs have never had any problems with fleas or ticks. I would definitely recommend this.

I was told to bathe the dogs in regular formula Dawn dishwashing soap (blue in color), then wait 48 hrs before applying the Front Line. Worked great. Please give it a try and get some relief for you dogs. My dogs problem was fleas. good luck

I bought a Great Dane puppy and when I brought it home found it was covered in ticks. The puppy had literally hundreds of ticks on him....on his head, his feet, belly, all over. I put frontline on him and within 12 hrs. all of the ticks had died and dropped off. I bought another Great Dane puppy who had mange all over his head. The frontline worked on him in about 24 hrs. Another Great Dane of mine was literally swarming with fleas...fleas were gone within a few hours of using frontline. I have been using frontline on my Mastiffs and Great Danes for many years and it has always worked.

This product does not work on cats or dogs..I had used it for years, but it is no longer effective.. I believe they changed formulation
... My poor animals are still scratching and I am getting bitten.. Very disappointing..don't waste your money.

Ive used other much less expensive products with hope that it would work. They didn't. Frontline plus is the only product that works for my dogs, chihuahua and a longhair yorkie mix. They would get infested with ticks and after an hour they died off. Its worth the price if used correctly.

I purchased two 3-packs for my dogs. The first application did not work, so I applied the second a month later. My dogs still have fleas and are scratching so badly that I am going to purchase a different brand. I don't understand why, but this product did nothing to control my dogs' fleas. :(

Used this product for a couple years. Last year there was NO flea control at all. Tick control, yes, but fleas were all over. Now that eggs are starting to hatch, it begins again. I have 3 large dogs and cats. The scratching is so bad that they had spots that started to bleed. Even my Vet recommended that I stop using this product (and he used to highly recommend it), that he had seen the effectiveness diminish over the past couple years.

This product has always worked great for all of my dogs and cats. I noticed some reviews where the customer said it didn't work. My guess is they did not follow package instructions on application and for bathing timelines for their pet. Don't be afraid to really get into the skin a little bit with that applicator tip too. You'll be flea free in no time!

This product has worked flawlessly for us. Once we were late applying it and a tick had taken hold of our dog. Within 24 hours of applying it, the tick fell off. Throughout the month cycle, ticks do take hold, but don't survive long. We've never seen any evidence of fleas since he's been on this.

Our dog is on Frontline for 1 year with good results. Recently we went for a hiking in the woods and he got a lot of ticks, we removed them quickly and the few that got to bite him died or were on its way. Has the benefit that is waterproof, that work for him because due to his allergies we bath him frequently. Easy application.

I have read a few reviews that stated this didn't work. Some of these came from people who bathed their dogs with flea shampoo. I had been advised to not use flea shampoo or regular shampoo as they make this product not as effective.
You may want to give it a try..talk to Vet or employee at store and verify this information. I used shampoo free shampoo and never have a problem. Good luck!

It works the first 2 weeks. But in week 3 or 4, I see fleas meandering through my corgi's fur. I have to use it in conjunction with flea shampoo, to make my doggy flea free.
Pros: easy to use

I prepped my 1 year old lab pups...flea control bath and made sure that there were no fleas on them. I weighed the pups to assure proper dosage. Also, cleaned all bedding material. Put this on them...in less than 5 days they have both fleas and ticks from our afternoon runs. Ticks did not die...had to pull them out with a hot match.....totally did not work. I even added a second dose...not a month later but a mere 2 weeks. Flat out did not work.

I have used this product for 7 years on my poodle. The first 6 years it worked great. I have always purchased it from a veterinarian. I do buy a lot of stuff from petsmart. This year it is not working. I'm going to petsmart today to buy a different product, trying to find something to work on the flees.

This product controls the fleas and ticks on my borador 365 days a year. When used according to manufacturer recommendations this product kills not only adult flea and tick but kills the fleas and ticks in all stages of their life cycle. Unlike competitor brands. I would recommend buying this product from a licensee veterinarian so your dog can always be up to date with optimal health.
Pros: control flea/tick adult and larva, doesn't aggrivate my dog
