I will start with the pros on this toy. I sometimes wonder if people know that certain toys should not be left unattended and most dog toys are NOT chew toys... My puppy absolutely loved this toy, I tried looking for the mop type of this brand, but I never could find it so I went for the monkey. It had lots of vibrant colours, the sound and the tails of the monkey made it very fun to play tug with my puppy and helped build a wonderful reward system for us. I like how you can fill the belly (i used an empty squished water bottle) and the noise made it even more fun for her to play with. What I truly love though is the fact it was lots of different fabrics and colour to make it more fun for puppy. That is a huge bonus!

Now the cons. As far as durability, it was awful!! Puppy teeth would rip right through it, the seams were falling apart in matter of days. I assumed since this was a puppy toy, it would have been more durable than this.

Pros: Keeps Pet Entertained

Cons: easily destroyed

Disappointed

I just bought this for my pug for Christmas. Although she did like it for the whole 5 minutes she had it before the face was off of it. I thought it was so cute and it said
durable so I figured it would last at least a couple of months.

I really would not recommend this product if you have a playful dog. Mine is 7 years old and loves to play, but I guess this was not a good choice. The duralock stitch strength is not really as strong as it should be.

Not Strong Enough

I bought this for my 7 month old beagle mix because he loves stuffed toys and this one looked like it would hold up to his chewing. However, I was extremely disappointed when the second day he was able to pull apart the head, remove all the stuffing and chew up the squeeker. He definitely loved the toy for those two days at least. I don't think this toy should be marketed as a durable toy, if it can't stand up to two days of playtime. We have many other stuffed toys that stand up to the chewing, so I know it's possible to make a truly durable toy.

My monster loved that I could hide many objects (balls, treats, empty water bottles) into the monkey's belly... but on the first day she chew an arm off. The more she played, the more it got torn and shredded to pieces. It lasted all of two week but got countless hours of fun during that time.

I could not get it away from her!

It would be a great toy for moderate chewers who may be more delicate than my beagle mix.

When I got this toy I filled it with tennis balls and gave it to my one year old black Lab, Ziva, She Loved it and wanted to carry it around everywhere she went. However, as soon as she sat down and started playing with it it took her less than 10 mins to pull off a foot and 2 of the tails. I had very high hopes for this one, but it just couldn't stand up to the "intense" playtime.

Pros: dog loved it

Cons: couldn't stand up to the playing
