My turtles name is jimmy, a painted turtle, he has plenty of room to swim around, and this kit comes with everything you need! I would reccomend getting some treats and filter inserts so you don't have to come every two weeks

I Have a huge red ear slider and she was so big she couldn't turn around in the 10 gallon tank. Bought the Kit today and already put it together amazing room and great pricing. was amazed at the discounts inside and all that you get would recommend this for any turtle lover around.

My turtle(Slider)loves this product!He eats the food, and he especially loves the plant.He like to play in it.The reason I gave it four stars is because th lights run out fast.I have found that if you set it by a window and give it natural light is a pretty good substitute.Overall this is a good product and I would recommend it.

It was a great help since it came in a kit, but I found the island that came with it pointless. My turtle didn't use it at all. So I got rid of the island and replaced it with a better one. Otherwise it was a great help. :)

I bought this product a few months ago and when I opened the package both bulbs were broken and the filter is JUNK!!! the little dock that it comes with is way to small even to hold a baby turtle. And last but NOT least it holds like NO water in the bottom. So warning DO NOT waste your money on this it is hobble !!!

We bought this for our 3in yellow belly slider and it will not last long at all, the filter doesnt even keep the 7 gallons of water clean.. you cant put in anymore water than that because of the stupid side here only half of it is glass where the filter goes. Lights are about the only thing that we will use.

Purchased this setup today, for my hatchling yellow belly, Shelton. Its a nice decent size for a hatchling and will last well until he's grown and its time to upsize, mine came with the two domes, and bulbs, but a different filter than the one others have posted, mine is a top submersible filter, not the cut away side. He loves the dock, it's perfect for him right now, and even as a hatchling has no problem climbing up onto it. Came with a silk plant, is in tank right now, but when he gets bigger, it will be removed due to a choking hazard, but he likes to climb on it. Overall, as a starter kit, i'd recommend it for hatchlings.

The tank itsef is big and it comes with the cute top which allows the turtle to have more air and the light come in. I bought filters, light bulbs after a month...I separately bought the rocks food and water softener because all they give is like the sample. It was tough to clean...i did buy 2 sets of filters and i ended up with one full... My turtle died few months later, so now im stuck with everything...like it says it's a starter kit...

OK, so i got this kit for xmas this year along with my African Sideneck, Flip-Flop. I put it together and it was awsome.....until it had to be cleaned. The filter works... but only for a week or so, then it gets bad. The acsess panel is terrible because flipflop has already escaped-twice by knocking it out. The bulbs are fine, same with the lights. The basking rock is poor though, you should rather just buy a separate one because this one doesn't hold up well. But the filter.....oh, the poor filter...... just stinks. As you probply know by now that turtles produce a lot of waste and they shed. The filter only reaches half of the tank and the desighn is bad. It sucks up water and filters it, but returns it RIGHT ABOVE where it sucks it in, thus, it cleans the same water countless times. In addition.. THE FILTER IS BUILT FOR FISH TANKS........made by aqueon. their motto is "Its all about the fish." Well Zilla people, this is a TURTLE kit!!!!!!! overall, this kit is a watse of money. it might be good as a starting kit, but you will need to upgrade completely within a year. I hope to get a better setup than this if my parents will let me.

Just don't buy this.

I got this starter kit when I first got my turtle, and it was a great bargain, since the lighting was all included. My turtle outgrew it pretty quickly though, since they are quite dirty and this tank is not only small, but has a pretty weak filter. After only a few months I upgraded to a 40 breeder with a Whisper in-tank fish filter, and my turtle is much happier. It was a great starter but for the vast majority of turtle owners you will quickly tire of cleaning it constantly and your turtle will be cramped. Might as well spend the extra dough and get the 40 gallon right off the bat.

My husband and I love this product. It came with everything we needed to get started except for rocks and a heater. Love the basking platform this kit comes with! We bought an extra one at the store and our turtle can't get on it and stay. It's a nice and attractive setup.

i bought this for my pet red eared sliders and they loved it.It was so fantastic! It was huge! dont underestimate how big it was but thats just the begining the filter is the best but you need to change it about every two weeks i rarely have to clean it but when i do it is extremely heavy i suggest you get a big bottle and take out the water first before cleaning the gravel and decor the basking area is kinda small so i bought a large magnetic floating island to replace it. the food is nutricious but my turtles dont like it so i mixed it with some crickets and they gobbled it up other than that its great

Pros: good filter, large space for turtles, nice decor, good lamps and bulbs

Cons: very heavy, hard to clean

It was a little heavy for me to lift and clean. Other wise the tank is high quality, the filter and lights hasve lasted for quite a while.
