I found this stand to be wobbly when I first put it together; HOWEVER, I went to the hardware store and bought some *Liquid Nails clear 100% silicone adhesive. Then, I took the stand apart and used the Liquid Nails while re-assembling.
I recommend using the Liquid Nails when assembling this stand (there is a 6 hour set time and a 16 hour cure time). I suggest that you (loosely) assemble the stand once without the Liquid Nails so that you know exactly how it is assembled. *Another good adhesive option would be Gorilla Glue.

IMPORTANT: Always level your aquarium before adding water!

The stand is now holding my 26-gallon bow-front tank and all of my supplies are conveniently hidden underneath.
I really like this aquarium stand!

I bought this stand over two years ago for my 26 gallon bowfront aquarium and it's held up very well! I thought it was going to be a temp one until I could afford a better one but it hasn't been! I'm very impressed on how it's turned out. No cracks or anything! Love the storage underneath as well. hides all my fish supplies!

that something that looks as nice as this has to turn out to be so cheap. assembly was a piece of cake. had some minor issues with keeping the doors closed, but a little tweaking with the hinges and a minor mod with the latches solved that real quick. my major complaint with this stand is the durability and capacity to hold the tank it says it will. its made of cheap particle board and is very unstable no matter what floor it is on. i never do these customer reviews, but this flimsy pile of particle board deserves nothing less. dont waste the money.

I bought this for my 29 gallon bowfront tank. This item took me 3 hours to assemble. A lot of time considering I just put a similar sized video cabinet together in 1 hour, 2 nights prior. Found that the board for the base was drilled on the wrong side and as a result, the wrong side is facing up for the supports to be joined. Since the wrong side showing now, I'll have to repaint the bottom to match the rest. Also, like other reviewers on other sites have frequently stated, Ameriwood products aren't wood at all. They are particle board, if that. As I filled my tank, I kept checking the stand for swaying, cracks that may be forming under the weight but all seems ok. My advice is to check reviews and upgrade if you can to save yourself trouble. The product says Made in the USA but I wonder where because Amercian Made products I have bought in the past were never screwed up like this.

Pros: sturdy

Cons: Hard to Install

I purchased this for my twenty gallon tank, and I was not very happy with it at all. I thought this would be perfect for my tank and will look nice , it would not fit a 20 gallon tank the top is to narrow I would not put any thing bigger than a 10 gallon tank on this stand or you could have a real proublem.

I wouldn't say its the worse stand I've ever seen. Assembly wasn't too bad....diagram was ok to follow. I've noticed even
with the brace it tends to lean....not sure if it will straighten once I fill the tank....will follow up...it was the only 36 gallon
bow front stand available.....

Pros: looks ok, easy to assemble

Cons: leans and seems weak, cheap partical board- stratches easily, doors won't latch shut even with adjustments
