Please don't believe all the hype about by-products and corn and wheat, spewed mostly by internet "experts." A veterinarian with a Ph.D. in veterinary nutrition thinks Purina has most likely done the most research in canine and feline gerentology and highly recommended the Pro Plan senior food to me. What more expert advise can one ask for? My 9 yo mixed breed is finally fluorishing on this and the canned version. Why did it take me two years to finally get it right? And, Petsmart has the best prices of all.

Our Golden Retriever is 16 years young this month and is still going strong. She has had only Purina Pro Plan from the time we got her at 8 weeks old. She started on the Puppy formula, ate the Adult formula for many years, and is currently on the Senior food and has flourished her whole life. She has been on the Pro Plan Senior for about 4 years now and while she is showing some age, her coat is full and healthy, and she runs the hill in our yard like a pup. I can't speak highly enough about the Pro Plan line of Purina products and feed it to all my dogs (4 in all)
