I had been looking for a new dog food and tried this because it was on sale with a pet perks card. My dog liked it, it had good nutritional values and it was pretty averagely priced, so I continued to get it. He is a papillon so he has fairly long hair. One day I had a friend over who use to be a manager at Petsmart. He was petting my dog and asked if I fed him ProPlan. I said that I did and asked how he could tell. He said that he had a fantastic coat and he could tell by how soft he was that I fed him ProPlan. While my friend no longer works at Petsmart because he graduated college, he said it is one of the best dog foods out there, especially for their coat.

Pros: high quality, digestible, taste, price

I bought this dog food for my 12 pound pug, Aleeah. She is picky and I figured we could try something along these lines. My dog didn't like it when we first brought it home and tried to mix it in with her old dog food she likes, but causes her tummy problems. About two days went by after we bought the food and I noticed white worms in my house near the panty (where the dog food was kept) low and behold after searching the flour, sugar, and grains. The expensive dog food was riddled with worms and eggs. Thanks Purina for the infestation in my house of flour moths. NEVER WILL BUY THIS BRAND AGAIN.

Cons: price, Taste, smell, low quality

she makes sure she eats every bite, even if she has to use her paw to get it from where she can't get to she will just to get that last bite lol

I have a papillon who is only about 8 lbs and I have tried many versions of dry dog food over the last two years that i have had her (she is only 2 years old) but she would never eat the dry kernels i always had to drowned them in dry food. With this food i just put in a little bit of the pro plan can food that i have recently bought along with this food and she will eat the whole dish. Not only does she love the food but she her coat is looking better on this. its a lot brighter white then it use to be. She is showing more energy in playing. I will continue to keep her on this high quality food. She was on name brands like Iams and Science diet and she has never liked them as much as she likes this. I recommend this to any pet owner. My cat even eats the pro plan wet food all the time along with pro plan dry food is always in his dish to. Thanks for the amazing product.

I originaly got this food in a free sample from somewhere, I can't recall where though, But my dog Kokoseita LOVED it. So I had to get her some more. I rather like the ingredients. Its good for her, and pretty cheap. Its one of the few brands of dog food that my dog actually will eat. And if Kokoseita is happy, I'm happy.
