I used to have the much larger version with the walk up ramp but after moving to a new apartment complex, I was limited on spaces to put such a large litter box. It's difficult to explain my set up but this is the absolute perfect size. I haven't had any issues with the urine going outside the box but I do understand how that might happen with some cats. Mine doesn't spray or push up against the side, always squats in the middle so you may want to take your cat's preference and size into consideration before purchasing this model, as it is kind of small. I bet if you had a very large cat, the top would easily pop off as well. But my 12 pound cat fits just fine in it and I haven't had any of the issues I've read about some others experiencing and it cuts down on the floor space my other one was taking up.

I'm the cat lady and all my 5 cats used this litter box. I had one in each color and thought they were very pretty for litter boxes but in the end they did get dirty and ended up in the basement. The ends don't attach, the top just rests on the bottom and I used liners for them.

I have been using this product for many years for my 2 cats and I love it. It keeps the majority of the litter in the box (aside from what they kick out as they leave the box) and make scooping a breeze. Only a light sweeping after they're done is all that's required.

I just rescued a kitten a bought this litter box due to my best friend buying one right before. She loved it and so did my kitten. He went to it immediately! Great for small spaces. Easy clean-up!

Sure wish I'd looked online and read reviews first, since I had the same issue with this litter box that others here mention... urine leaks out where the top joins the bottom. My male cat has never been a 'sprayer' but just urinates normally for a male cat, i.e. slightly higher up than a female who squats completely. I haven't had this leaking issue with other covered pans, but this one leaks urine out and onto the floor. Disgusting both for the mess/smell AND the waste of $25.

I should have looked at it a little closer while in the store. I thought there was a door to it. There is not. I l also thought the lid would snap on to the bottom. It does not. It is deep though. I don't use liners because the cats just tear them up.

I wanted to like this. It and was supposed to be revolutionary. My main problem is my little ones like to go #1 against the wall on the inside of their boxes. This one is the most annoying to scoop. Using a square scoop and a round box just does not work with cats that go #1 on the edges. I'm going to buy another box shaped one for my 3rd.

I recently rescued a kitten and started her with the small litter pan, and placed in in my bathroom. She quickly out grew it and I honestly was so tired of looking at litter every time I went into my bathroom. (I am a clean freak and like things put away). When I saw it in the store it looked huge! Got it home (the seafood green is a lovely color that blends well with my decor) and I love it! The dome comes with a liner and an odor control pad that fits into a slot. I poured over 16lbs of litter into it because it is VERY deep and the instructions say to have 4-6 inches of litter inside. My kitten likes it so far because she has much more room! I think she feels secure in it also. The box is discrete in my bathroom now, which makes me very happy!!

This was the first litter box I bought for my kitties. I wrote a review for the second one I bought, which I also love. But, I love this one too! The reasons I got two is because 1. I have two cats, and 2. My dogs took to eating the litter so I needed a door. This box is my smaller (female) cats favorite box. She won't use the other one unless the door is flipped open. I love that it is round, no corners to get stuck in. And, it doesn't really look like a litter box in the room. Also, despite it not having a door, it does not let out much odor, or mess from the paws. I recommend this "box" to anyone! One caveat ... it is not really suitable for my husky male cat. He used it when he was a kitten, but it is not roomy enough for him anymore, so I would say that this is for smaller cats (although my male does tip the scale at 26 lbs already and not even a year yet, so he is MUCH bigger than most big cats!)

I love this! my cat does too. She's the kind of cat who likes privacy, so the cover is really good. Unfortunetly, I don't like it when my cat tracks litter out of the litter box, so I would suggest a door. That way the litter stays in. Other than that, it's great!

Love this thing! Its the perfect size for one kitten. We bought in the grayish color, and for the most part it keeps the smell, and the litter inside. The only con is that I wish it had a door because our kitty does fling litter out the door (conviently), but other than that I've had no problem with cleaning it, or any smell issues.

I got this litter box because of it's shape and filter design. My old litter box always seemed pungent and unventilated inside despite my leaving the flap door off, and my cat somehow scattered litter outside the box despite being high.

There is almost no smell in the box when I go to scoop the litter and seems well ventilated, which makes me very happy for my kitty's sake.

I was nervous about it not having a flap door because my cat had always scattered litter with her previous box, but I have had no problems. It is high enough to catch what little she does fling around now, and the round design is easier for her to turn about in circles to find her spot. She seems much happier, calmer, and comfortable with this box.

Our kitten we adopted likes the litter box; however is still learning to cover his poo completely which makes the litter box stink REALLY bad every time he goes in. It would be great to have a cover to go over the opening, and as the other reviewers stated to have the opening on the outside to avoid messes. :-\

- First off this litter box was amazing (mine had a ramp) we first bought this litter box for our kitty who happended to be the runt of the litter so the ramp was perfect!

- Nice size for litter, and so much space for one cat, you could even use it with multiple cats!

cons: mine was fairly expensive, the "carbon filter" always kept falling out and into the litter, and its a pain to clean,
also if your cat pees alllooot, it goes straight to the bottom and sticks which causes a nasty time consuming cleaning.

Otherwise i like this box.

Poor lid lip design

The MAIN problem with most all of these boxes with covers is the 'lip' of the lid is facing the wrong way. Instead of the overhang (lip) of the cover facing INSIDE, it faces outside allowing the urine to flow over the bottom and to the floor from cats that 'spray'.

Real stupid design. This model is worse than most.

My cat took to this as soon as i brought it home. It cuts down on the litter outside the box and cuts down on Oder. The only problem is my cat pees crooked and when she does it sometimes hits the side and get in the rim, but not a big problem as i just wipe that when i clean the litter box. Perfect for anyone who wants to keep litter inside box. I love the Booda and so does my cat!

I originally LOVED this litter box but then realized when my cat urinates, it leaks from the side and gets all over the floor. It makes the floor stink and the extra step of more cleaning. YIKES! Off to buy a new litter box tomorrow but not the Booda.

I have been very satisfied with this litter box. My kitten took to it immediately without issue. He does some serious scratching before taking care of business and this litter box has significantly cut down on the amount of litter that ends up on the floor. The lid keeps the gross stuff hidden and is easy to remove for cleaning the box. I don't know if this would be big enough for two cats. I am considering upgrading to the newer larger booda dome with ramp to cut down on litter outside the box completely. Overall I have been very happy with this product and would recommend it.

Pros: easy to remove lid for cleaning, hides the gross stuff inside
