This is a very nice gate which compliments any decor, however, it is not wide enough for some large openings. I need at least 77" with a walk through gate.

I love this dog gate! I never review products. But because almost everytime I go through this gate, I think (or even say out loud) "I love this gate!", I figured I would take the time to mention it here.
It required assembly. I am using it in its largest configuration (about 60"), in a double-doorway. I liked that I was able to choose towards which side I wanted the gate opening. I was able to get it fully assembled in about half an hour, by myself.
One thing I did not know when I purchased it was that the two fence sections aren't wood, but metal painted to match the colour of the wooden gate. Not a bad thing, just worth mentioning.
My only complaint about this gate is that the hardware (nuts and screws) are plain, unpainted steel and are very obvious against the painted (orangey-brown) metal of the fence. Hardly a complaint, really. I plan to paint the hardware a matching colour, to give it a more uniform look.
The gate lock/release handle is so smooth and easy to work one-handed, even a small child can open and close this gate. The gate swings smoothly and silently, in almost-full arc, so that it can open into either room.
This gate is strong and sturdy when properly installed (works with tension - no wall mounts needed). I am using it for my two golden retrievers, about 65-75 lbs each. I know the gate isn't rated for dogs this big, and if you have a big dog that really wants to go through it, they could. But it is plenty strong enough for my boys that just need the boundary as a remainder that they are not allowed into that room. :)
I am so pleased with the quality of this gate for the price I paid that I plan to gat another one, to use in another location in the house.
