We have a very well trained German Shepherd/Husky mix and have gone through two of these particular dispensers. The end cap that holds the bags in comes off very easily. It leaves you with a running stream of unraveling bags while your dog is moving on leash. You would be better served with simply tearing off one or two bags and keeping them in your pocket. Looks for something better.

I got this pick-up bag dispenser when I first adopted my dog and I wasn't at all impressed. The bottom part (that actually holds the bags in) kept falling off randomly. I can't tell you how many times I had to pick bags up off of the ground and roll them back up to put them back in the container. Within less than a month of using the dispenser, the top strap that holds it onto the leash broke making it unusable.

The dispenser's leash attachment broke within one day of purchase, and the rubber plug that holds the bags in the unit wouldn't stay closed. I couldn't find my receipt or I would have returned it. I do leave the dispenser in my car so bags are handy when we go to the dog park.

I have a very active dog. The top of the dispenser popped off one time. Today I noticed the dispense had falled off of the leash after my 10-year-old walked the dog.

I don't have any problems with it falling off as I just leave it on the shelf and take one at a time; however, there are not 30 bags per roll - maybe 10. Used a roll in 4 days and he doesn't go 8 times a day.

I do not like this dispenser. The bottom is always falling off so the bags fall out and it always falls off my leash.

This is the worst dispenser I have ever had, period! The look is there but it is not very functional, unless of course you have a ten pound dog who walks perfectly by your side. I have two very strong Samoyed's who are very active and want to see what is going on. The cap is always falling off, usually when you don't notice. This proceeds to project the bags all over the street. The slit the bags come through is so small the only way you can get them out is with a pair of tweezers. Try doing that when two dogs are pulling you down the street.
I think the whole design could have been thought out better by a three year old.

I purchased this bag dispenser in pink, and I am really happy with the color and presentation. I have not had the experience other's have had with the cap falling off. In fact, my dog got away from me once while on her lead and the cap remained firmly in place- even being drug over asphalt and cement. One issue I do have with this dispenser is that I feel the slit the bags come out of is too wide. Occasionally (more often than not), the bag slips back inside the canister, which is a pain to fish out. Especially in the dark. I feel this would be easily fixed with some sort of rubber flap that would aid in holding the bag in place. I also appreciate the reflector sticker affixed onto this dispenser.
The bags are durable enough and I enjoy the color, however, I seriously do not believe the claim that there are 30 bags per roll. One roll lasted me only four days. Now, I wasn't keeping track or anything, but I'm preeetty sure my dog didn't poo 30 times in four days.
Overall, I am happy with the dispenser but will seek to purchase refill bags from a different company.

I loved this dispenser, however 5-6 months after we purchased it we lost the lid that holds in the bags. Several times before the lid had fallen off but we had found it then.
Sadly we could find it when we lost it yet a 5th time. Since then we have replaced it with this one: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11279642&lmdn=Brand

We have used this since we've had our puppy (about 3 mos). The rubber lid on the bottom can be taken off easily by the dog and it tends to fall off on it's own. Will not buy again.

I got this in the blue and have really liked it! It fits onto my dog's Martha Stewart Pets fabric leash very nicely! The bags come out easily, but once you take one out sometimes the next one doesn't come out, but this only happens a few times and isn't a major issue. Besides, this happens with a lot of bag holders!
Pros: cute, durable, good quality

Not sure why they changed the product from coming out the bottom to now coming out of the side. It is much more difficult to tear off the bags now and they tend to rip. When they came out of the bottom, it was easier to just pull. Especially in the dark! Change it back...please top paw!
Pros: convenient when walking dog
Cons: difficult to detach from the side.

bought this item because i was moving to a location where i had to walk my dog Lilly. I got the pink one since she is a girl and is very girly. I hooked it to her leash and it stayes there. I love it. There is one thing i would ant to be inproved is the fact that there are so few bags on a roll. I use a roll within a weeks time. Yes my dog does her business twice a day everyday. I saw they have sented bags also but it looks like its only in citrus sent. I would to have different sents. I even enjoy the fact that they have holiday bags. So far i have used the product for two weeks but i love it. i would like if they added a light to the bottom on the hold so i dont have to carry a flashlight. i do need to find the mess so please add a small light to the lovely deal. Great thing to have spec if you dog pottys in more then one spot.
Pros: very convient., love the sents, great disgns on bags
Cons: need more bags on rolls, one roll a week is not good, needs a flashlight on product to find the mess
