Love the filters because I don't have to change them that often - every 2 months, since my "girls" also drink bottled water, like mommy.

These filters are worth the extra $2 per pack versus the next cost down they last longer in the fountain especially since i live in a house that has over a dozen cats drinking out of 3 fountains that use these filters. it saves me money in the long run i can use 1 filter for nearly a month before i have to change it versus the $9 ones that i would have to replace every 2 weeks

The filters are nice, and I realize that I can use the fountain without them,but I have had 2 different packs that I have bought and the filters have had holes in them and the charchol pieces fall out, they were unuseable. other than that I like them.
Cons: poor quality

I can't believe how expensive the filters are and they recommend you change them every month - I'm not made of money. I'm going back to the freshflow fountain for my cat. The filters are less than half the price and she loves drinking from it.
Cons: Doesn't Hold Enough Food or Water

These high capacity filters do a great job of filtering the water and last longer than the regular filters. It is definitely worth paying a little more for the high capcacity so they don't have to be changed as often when multiple cats are using the fountain. Look for "high capacity" on the package.
