I switched my 3 month old dachshund to Science Diet a few weeks ago and am completely satisfied. I follow the feeding measurements given on the bag and my dachshund has a shiny coat, more regular bowel movements (than when he was eating a different product), and is very healthy. He loves Science Diet!

I love science diet dog food. I have been a breeder for over 15 years and science diet is my food of choice for all ages of my dogs. I tried other puppy foods at first and my female dogs always had problems welping during the birthing process. Once I started using Science Diet it helped her to welp with out complications and her milk came in easier and more frequent.
Now i just have several dogs and I still use science diet.

My vet has reccomended Hills Science Diet for years. We did try blue buffalo but didn't see much of a difference. So if you are looking for a quality dog food that is not outrageously priced look no further!

My Maltese loves this stuff. It's not expensive and a whole bag lasts him anout 3 & half months. Considering he is only 4mths. old. But I love the fact that the bits are small and fitting for his breed, size and age.

My puppy loves it, the lady we got him from said he ate adult food more than puppy. It was clear that he wasn't gaining weight because of it, a few days after he started eating this food he had already gained 2 lbs. I highly recommend this food, i've had other dogs who ate other brands and they had so many health problems. My vet said because my current pup is on this he will be really healthy.

We adopted Abigail when she was 4 months old. She is a Norfolk terrier mix, and due to our vets recommendations we started her right off with Science Diet. I do agree with most people and think that it is a bit pricey so we tried other brands that were cheaper and we noticed the difference right away! Her coat was very dull and gross looking, she also smelled really bad, and started trying to eat her own wast. Which I looked up why dogs do that and found out it is because of a lack of nutrition in there diet. So we decided to put up with the price of the food and switch her back to Science diet, and all the negatives we found with the cheaper foods went away almost immediately!! I highly recommend this product, and if you keep your eyes open you can find really good coupons for Science Diet which will help with the cost.

I have a younger Chiweenie who loves this food. Other food gave her gas & an upset stomach. This seems to agree with her well and appears to have a good amount of nutrition. We started it on her because the breeder we purchased the dog from recommended it. Whenever a breeder recommends something it has to be good!

Pros: good quality, small bite sizes for my puppy, good nutrition content

Cons: a little expensive

I have a 9 month old papillion, she's been eating thise science diet formula for about 4 months now. I really like science diet because they formulate the food to fit your dog's needs. For example I have 3 papillons that all need 3 different types of food. One is a Male 8 yrs old, another is a male 6 yrs old (a little heavy for a papillon), and finally a female who's 9 months old. So you see how different their needs can be. I recommend trying out the small bag and if it fits than get the bigger bags to save more money that way.

I had heard of the Hill's Science Diet Brand and was very interested in learning more about the product and having my dog, Bella, a miniature Schnauzer, try it. After all, it is the #1 choice of vets. I was happy when I received a coupon through BzzAgent to obtain a free sample of the product.

I was impressed that not only is the food specially formulated for small and toy breed dogs, but they also had formulations for every stage: Puppy, Adult, Adult Light and Mature Adult. I got Bella the adult formula because we are so much more active with walking and being outside during the warmer months.

She loves to eat just about anything, so I had no trouble introducing the new brand to her. She just gobbles it up with gusto. It's still early on, so I haven't seen any changes in her coat or activity level. But, since I believe good nutrition is important to my own health, why would it not be equally important to hers?

I will admit the food is a little pricey for my budget, but I'm willing to pay a little more for quality products.

I have a 10 month old papillon that just loves to eat and she has been on this food for a short time but i put her on this food after coming across it while shopping for dog food. Its just perfect for her size...it tells you on the bag what breeds of dogs its designed for, she loves it along with the science diet can food. I like it because its a spefic dog food for her size and its not giving her extra vitamins that she dont need for her size. So if you have a small dog i would check this food out. THey make it in big bags to.
