I bought this for my 10 week old German shepherd puppy.He is very healthy but we are having trouble getting to eat it we had to mix it with a different brand in order for him to eat but he has no heath problems yet.

Best dog food for German Sheperd puppies

This dog food is amazing. Our puppy was started on this by his breeder and his coat is shining and he is steadily gaining weight. He loves it and eats without any problems, no loose stools. I would highly reccomend this to anyone with a sheperd puppy.

Our puppy really loves this food. He eats it quick. His coat is very heathy, He has been on puppy food since he was 8 weeks old. He is six months now and still loving it. Best food ever.

Madison is now 9 months old and growing like a weed! She loves the puppy formula and it is very digestible for her. The shape slows her down and she chews more thoroughly then with other foods.
She has very nice skin and a super shiney coat.
The only drawback is keeping our 2 1/2 year old GSD out of her food!

Our 14 week old German Shepherd puppy was started on another large breed quality food, Blue Buffalo. After weeks of loose stool we switched him to Royal Canin German Shepherd Puppy 30 Formula Dog Food. What a difference. Smaller and firmer stool than the other food and the puppy loves it. It's a little pricey but our puppy is worth it.

My husband and I got our German Shepherd when he was 7.5 weeks old and at the time he was on another brand of puppy food and his coat was all nappy looking and his eyes were not clear and he was thin and had very runny, loose stools. We switched him to Royal Canin German Shepherd Puppy 30 around 12 weeks and he has been on it since, he is now 10 months and he has the most beautiful coat. High shine and softness and he has absolutely no skin problems. His weight is great (as great as a growing pup's weight can be) and he has nice solid normal stools. We get so many compliments on him and both his vet and groomer think he looks great. Not to mention it is all natural no dyes or anything and smells like beef. It's a little pricey but it's definitely worth it and Banfield usually gives out coupons for it.

I bought this for my 10 week old German Shepherd puppy because she stopped eating her other food. I put in ithe bowl and 5-10 minutes later it was gone! The only thing is that it's a little pricey but I will be buying it for my puppy.

Pros: high quality, digestible, taste

I would have to say that Royal Canin puppy 30 formula has shown the best results (solid stool) for my 9 week old GSD..this has all the best nutrients needed for your GSD I switched from using iam's which gave my puppy the runs! there are so many types of food on the shelf so dont be fooled. If you are looking for a good match for your GSD puppy and want the best! this is a wise choice!
