All together blue buffalo food is great! It targets the size and age of your dog . All my dogs love the varieties offered.it is pricy but the quality is better and they don't eat as much.

I mix this with a little of heated canned Blue Buffalo "stew" and my Chi gobbles it up! I compared the label to other dry dog foods, but they just don't measure up to Blue Buffalo, content-wise!

My 3 doxies kept biting their feet and backs, and creating "hot spots" and sores. I switched them from Eukanuba-for Dachshunds (w/chicken meal) -to the Blue Buffalo-fish & rice, and all their feet biting and licking stopped! The sores healed up, and their coats are long and beautiful now. I believe a lot of small dogs are allergic to chicken, and this BB-fish/rice food is wonderful and they love the taste!! So glad they make it in "small dog" kibbles, as two of my rescue dogs have lost ALL their teeth! I moisten the dog food just a little for them, but they absolutely love it.

My Mollie Jane is a 5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who can be as finicky as a cat. I decided to try her on the Blue Buffalo Small Breed Adult Fish & Brown Rice and she LOVES it. She has a problem with keeping her weight down (she's one of the smaller Cavaliers) and this food maintains her weight beautifully. Her coat is soft and shiny and her skin is never dry for flaky. She's been on this diet for about three years now and she's never turned her nose up at it, so it must be good stuff!!

Pros: price, high quality, digestible, taste

My Dachshund is allergic to chicken, and Blue Buffalo makes sure there is no poultry in this food. It was recommended to me by a friend that has Spaniels that are allergic to poultry. My dog loves it and I don't have to worry about any allergic reaction. I would definitely recommend it!

My Cleo (minpin) was on Iams for many years. She always had dry skin and dandruff. While vacationing in Washington state, I bought her some salmon treats. She LOVED the salmon. So I saw the comparision of different dog foods and decided to check out BB. I was very pleased that they had a fish blend little dry kibbles. I brought it home and Cleo just loves it. Her dandruff is gone and she has a beautiful shinning coat and lots of energy. You can actually smell the fish. I am able to feed her less than I did with the Iams. Although it is alittle pricey, with feeding her less it works out to be OK. Plus being able to feed her good quality food, knowing I am doing the best I can for her, is a very good feeling.

I put my Dito on this formula after I realized that he is a little sensitive to chicken. Blue is just great! If I have any questions, their customer service is wonderful. They make great recommendations and they are extremely passionate about the love and care of our pets.
The food has given my 6 year old malshi a full shiny coat. He has plenty of energy and loves dinner time.
I love the integrity and fullness of the ingredients and I love not having to buy additional vitamins on top of his food.
I tried a slightly pricier competitive brand and it was a no go. I guess I was thinking the amount I spent would make it even better, but it didn't.
Blue is the business! I think this is the number one way to spoil your dog with love.

Okay, Pepsie the papillon WAS on Eukanuba, but I noticed she didn't like the flavor so I switched her to Royal Canin. She liked it but, I wanted to switch to HOLISTIC dog food, so I decided Blue Buffalo to switch to. I bought the new flavor, fish and brown rice flavor. Pepsie loves it! It's nice to know that she likes the flavor(I think, looked at ingredients) and it's good for her too because it's holistic. I highly reccomend this product. But next time I think I'll switch to the chicken and brown rice flavor because I think Pepsie likes chicken flavor best! Also, it took Pepsie longer to get used to the food than usual but she eventually got used to it and loves it. It's a little pricey though.

Pros: holistic, no by-products, dog likes the flavor, healthy

Cons: a bit pricy
