We have a 6 month old Havanese puppy. We switched him from pedigree, which has tons of fillers, to this food. He loves it! He used to eat his pedigree food slowly... now he gobbles down the blue buffalo kibbles as fast as he can... We tried transitioning him from one to another slowly, but unfortunately, he just pushes all of his pedigree kibbles out of the way now and only eats the blue buffalo kibbles... it's a hit, he loves it! The ingredients list is stellar and we know we're feeding him quality food now.

When we first got our mini schnauzer sadie from the breeder my husband forgot to ask what she had been feeding her, so he stopped by Petsmart to see what was recommended and they guy working said Blue Buffalo and we haven't looked back since. I will admit we were both nervous she wouldn't take to the food since we are pretty sure it was not what she was eating but you would have never known the difference. Sadie loves her blue!

Our small breed dog was very picky with his food. He also had bad tearing stains under his eyes. We tried this food and he loves it!!! and we noticed that his stains are going away after just days on blue buffalo!!!

My little runt just loves this food which is made in the USA! She's a 5# Havanese mix and when I get her bowl out, she races to her crate to be fed (otherwise my older dog steals it). She eats quite a bit and I'll have to start measuring more carefully, but its an awesome food for a toy pup! After my finicky older dog eats, she runs over to clean up what the puppy didn't eat!

Our pair of Terripoo Schnauzer mix little girls have been on this food since we got them last month. There was no problem switching them over & they LOVE this food. In the month they have almost doubled their weight and definitely are happy. There isn't any picking for their meal, they heartily eat, and will be going to Small Breed Adult when the time comes. Definitely a satisfied Blue Buffalo customer!!!

I've had my Yorkie on it since he was 6 weeks old. and 2.5 lbs on or about 01/17/13

He is now a healthy 5.5 lbs shiny coat and great teeth
has no bad breath or digsetive problems.

6# bags last nearly 2.5 months. He eats about a cup and a half a day. I also give him the blue bones as a treat in between.

There is a alot of dog food out there but would'nt trust my Dog to nothing other than Blue Bufflo.

Don't look at this food and start doing the math in your head at what it is going to cost you to feed your 1, 2, or more pets, because this food last forever!!! What I mean by that is compare the serving size with other brands or how much of cheaper brands your already feeding your pets. I recently got a Pomeranian and I wanted to give her healthy food. I mean I got her so she could be part of my family and so why not feed her a good quality food. So when I was looking into what brand to feed her I like you heard good things about Blue Buffalo and decided even though the price is high she is worth it and I figured the bag would last a little while. to my surprise I purchased the large bag also with a air tight container to store it in so it would stay fresh and this was when she was 7 weeks old. She is now 6 months old and I just reordered it off the website (free shipping). He other bag is getting low and I didn't want to run out. Keep in mind that my husband also give the occasional handful to his dog who also loves it and will probably be switching him as well.

All of this said keep in mind that old saying "You get what you pay for" it's old for a reason because it's true.

We adopted a Chihuahua mix, Although you wouldn't know it-she looks like a pure breed. She was the runt but had the disposition we were looking for. We wanted to make sure she got the best nutrition possible. She loves this food and we feel good knowing she's getting the best during this very important time.

I just got a shih-tzu puppy. The breeder gave me the puppy's old food to mix with the new food I bought (which is Blue Buffalo). I bought it because it is natural and has no preservatives or fillers. A mentally & physically healthy dog starts with delicious, hearty, chemical-free food!

Some dogs shy away from new food but my puppy dug right in. He loves it and it seems healthy & delicious! I use it as a treat too.

One thing that boggles my mind: the serving recommendations are small when I compare it to the recommendations of other dog food brands. Maybe it's because it has no fillers? Full nutrition in every bite means they don't have to eat as much?

I have two shelter puppies that I was transitioning to BLUE but before I could even get thru the food transitioning period they were already picking thru the "other stuff" and only eating the BLUE kibbles! Needless to say they are BLUE pups for life! :)

I absolutly love Blue for my PomChi and she loves it too! Love that real meat is the first ingredent and not all this by-product that you hear so many other dog foods are made from.

As far the price it is not to bad for me since it takes her 3 months to go through a small bag (we also mix the can food in with the dry for her). I will defanitly be sticking to Blue for a long time.

Blue Buffalo is hands down the best brand of food I have ever given a dog. We had originally been giving her another brand of food that the pet store that she was purchased from gave her. But during Hurricane Sandy, I had to stay somewhere and left her original food at my house. I had to switch the food and she has been enjoying it ever since. Even my veterinarian approved when she asked about what type of food I was feeding her. Even if it is a little bit more pricer than other dog foods, the quality of this food and the entire brand is by far the best. Even my grandmother's dog, he hates his dog food and only eats it as a last resort. But when my puppy's food is on the floor even he eats it.

I've noticed a difference in her coat since transitioning to BB. At first she wouldn't eat BB but she likes it now. I didn't know BB was Not recognized as an essential nutrient by AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles. Thinking of switching again.

When I first got my maltipoo puppy, the petsmart staff member recommended this, saying it was really high quality stuff. My puppy seemed to like it but he slowly stopped eating it. I switched him over to blue buffalo wilderness puppy and he does better on it.

healthy!

I have a long haired chihuahua puppy and am always trying to find the best food for my dog. We started him on royal canin for chihuahua puppies then went with the wilderness blue and now blue buffalo life protection. He enjoys it but tend to disregard the healthy bits and eats only them if he's really hungry. He gained a lot of weight and his coat is much softer and shinier and has a lot of energy. But since on blue the smell of his feces is more stinkier- I'm assuming since it has more meat in it. But knowing that it's healthier for my pet opposed to other brands out there I guess that's acceptable.

I am so glad that i did not review this product earlier because i would have written a review saying, how my dog does not eat it. Because we introduced her to wet food she did not even sniff her dry food anymore and it was getting a bit harder to store the wet food. So what happened was i was tossing her treats around and she would run up to eat them so then i had the idea to try using her (at the time wasted) dry food and she loved them so i put some in her bowl and she started eating. Well, this all just happened a few minutes ago and i just really wanted to review to say we will be staying on this food until she is a adult to when we will switch to a different blue dog food... Thank you for making me so happy blue!!!
