I have a 7.5# Shih Tzu mix and she is very picky about her food. I wanted to get the very best food for her as she's getting on in years. Unfortunately, she's not wild about the salmon. But if I put a little bit of cottage cheese in it, she'll eat it right up. I love Blue Wilderness products, so we'll just try another flavor next time.
Its very pricy, but you know you get what you pay for. I want my dogs to eat better than I do!

For those of you who haven't tried this food, it really is worth the money if you care about your dog at all. Would you feed your children McDonald's everyday? That's what you're doing when you feed your dog some of the garbage people feed their dogs. I know it's pricey but when you have people constantly saying how beautiful your dog is..... yes guys, that is kinda cool. Give up a couple of your own food/beer binges and feed your dog some of this and watch him/her lick the bowl clean....every day! A guy and his dog is a beautiful thing.

After being out of the Pet food & Grooming business for many years I had tried every new "Best" dog food out there or so I had thought. Then I was told about this food from a friend of mine and I have to tell you that I have not looked back since. While having a problem with a rescue's immune system nothing seemed to give him that extra boost that he needed, even with the supplements that I was giving him as well. But after about 3-4 weeks on this food his coat is shiny, no more warts and he has so much more energy now. People who had seen him when he first came to live with me could hardly believe the positive changes in him. He is more focused now and he actually looks like the best of the breed that he is at just 8 months old and his ears often stay up like they should!!!

I've been feeding my dog, Sweet Pea, Blue Buffalo for the last few years. She has always been very picky about her food, it took 10-12 tries to find something she really liked. A few months ago, Sweet Pea was diagnosed with cancer. The vet suggested that I switch to a higher protein diet, as cancer feeds on carbohydrates. I knew I would be satisfied (as would she) if I switched her regular BB to Wilderness. She loved it and would clean her bowl the second I would serve it (not common before). I give her BB Wilderness wet food in addition to this and she still enjoys it. Yes, it's pricey, but you're paying for quality food. 2 paws up from Sweet Pea.

I have a Springer Spaniel who has naturally itchy skin and needs a good food to maintain her coat. Also, other foods gave her gas. Now that she's a senior, I want her to be as healthy as possible. I read about this food and gave it a try. She loves the taste of the salmon and other ingredients and I quickly saw an improvement in her coat and a reduction in her itchiness. She is a happy and healthy senior, which is what she and I needed.

this is an excellent food. both my dogs have never looked better their coats are soft and shiny and alot less shedding. they are maintaining a steady weight and have good energy. the difference was very noticable within 2 weeks their coats were so much fuller and healthier looking. would definetly recomend this food.

We have three large breed dogs ranging in age from 8 months to two years old. They are highly active and were beggining to produce more yard waste than we could keep up with. We were feeding them Eukanuba Large Breed puppy twice a day two cups each feeding. They just seemed to never be full and always be eliminating.
One of the store's employees suggested that we try the Blue Wilderness for a month to see if the change in fillers made a difference.
I can attest, it made a huge difference. We are now working on the Salmon recipe, they love the stuff. My yard is much happier too.

This stuff is great! When I feed this to my husky, I feel like I just went fishing and caught her a salmon. You can really smell the fish in the product so you know it's real, which is great for their coat. She can smell it too! She loves this stuff even though she is very picky. I have tried a lot of other foods but she refuses to eat any of them without wet food mixed in, but when I pour this food in her bowl, she starts eating it before I can finish pouring it! No wet food required, this is top of the line food, you have to try this stuff.

After trying many types of dog food my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel continued to have itchy dry "hot spots" where her fur fell out. She looked and felt horrible. The vet finally said to try a fish based food with no grains. We tried Blue Salmon and now just a few months later her coat is full and shiny. She no longer is bothered with itching or flaking. I will continue to feed her this food. I would highly recommend Blue Salmon to anyone who has a dog in similar circumstances.

Blue Buffalo Wilderness dog food is amazing! We live in Alaska and we have a very active lifestyle. This food gives them the nutrition and energy our dogs need to keep up. The dogs also seem happier, healthier, and there coats are very shiny. This is now the only dog food we ever buy for our two dogs!

I love this dogfood. Blue Buffalo is made in the US therefore I feel more comfortable about the safety standards of this dogfood. My dog had a terrible itching/scratching thing going on for quite awhile. He is allergic to fleas, so I treated him with the flea medicine thinking that would solve the problem. It helped alleviate it but did not stop him from constantly scratching and biting. Then, someone told me it could be food related. I tried several name brand dog foods but none seemed to relieve his scratching and biting. After I tried the Wilderness Salmon for a few weeks, my dog has stopped scratching and biting and is much calmer. This dog food has a lot of Omega 3 in it so that may be the reason. Whatever it is, my dog is a much happier pet now that we have him on Blue Buffalo Wilderness Salmon. I have not tried the other Wilderness flavors. Thank you.

We tried several other brands of food before trying Blue Buffalo Wilderness. We have an Albino Doberman and he has very sensitive skin. Every other kind of food we had him on made him break out. As soon as we started him on Blue Wilderness Salmon his rash cleared up and we haven't had a problem with it since. This has also helped him to stop shedding as much. We love this product and would recommend it to anyone!

We would never buy another food for our Boxer. We started with the puppy and switched to the wilderness and we have never had any problems. We rotate between the flavors and our dog loves them all!

I am glad to find a dog food that is grain free. I do not believe dogs require grain and think it is just a cheap filler. My dogs like this food and seem to thrive on it.

Although it is a bit pricey dog food is one of the places where its best to spend a bit more for quality. This food is an investment in keeping my dog healthy.
My dog loves this food and it settles well for him. Its very rich so he doesn't need to eat as much as with other foods: a + for me cleaning the yard but a - for him since he is a bit greedy :)

We switched our 7 year old Boxer mix over to BB Wilderness after stumbling upon several websites that break down what is in dog food and if it is in fact good, bad, or neutral, to the dogs health. Prior to that, we used a popular kibble that was supposed to be 'full of benefit' for her. We had to bathe her (professionally) not less than once a month because she would get really bad body odor, receive failing marks for skin at those cleanings, and shed like crazy - even in the winter. A month after we gradually switched over, ALL of those symptoms disappeared. She was even more energetic and dances more.
I agree there are other great dog foods out there (and there are!), but this is the first we tried and everyone loves it. The only downside is that she gets salmon breath after each meal, but it is much better than BO!

I have been feeding Blue Buffalo Wilderness Salmon to my dog for six months. In those six months her skin has improve. Dry skin was a BIG problem for her. Not anymore. Thank You so much.

My 3 year old beagle has food sensitivities, which cause her to have horrible digestive/bowel issues. After we adopted her and realized she had these issues I figured it was because of wheat fillers in her food. We tried this and it's fabulous! We've had her on this food for two years now. She loves it, and rarely has problems anymore. Even though this food is pricier than many, it's definitely worth it because it makes her happy and healthy, and reduces stress for all of us because she doesn't have accidents anymore. Plus, knowing I am giving her wholesome, natural food with no fillers makes me happy. The quality of food you give your dog truly does make a difference in their overall health!
