My daughter has two RES. They would only eat live fish. One of them developed a vitamin A deficiency. After trying several different foods, they seem to love this food. She is doing great now, very healthy. They come out and eat it immediately. They come to the glass looking for it each time someone enters the room.

I have a 6 year old fire bellied newt & a 2 year old Red eared turtle. Up until a year ago, I have been feeding them live crickets, which they loved but what a hassle. I went to Petsmart to purchase more crickets & cricket food when I discovered Reptomin Plus. I tried it and both the newt & the turtle ate it with no problems or reservations. They've been eating Reptomin for over a year now, and are both healthy & thriving. Now we are all happy.

I bought this for Zimpy, my RES. Its a bit bigger than i thought it would be. Zimpy only ate half. Its only a little bit.
The leftovers always cloudy up the water. So I often have to clean the water more than before I had that food.
